What impressed me most since we have finished the discussion about America is American sports. As we all know, the United States is a sports-loving nation, sports in America take a variety of forms.

Almost all Americans are involved with sports in some way. They may play baseball or volleyball or go swimming or skiing. They may watch football or basketball on the high school, college, or professional level.

Sports is a part of life to Americans. All Americans are fond of sports, the popularity of sports in USA is highest in the world, whether students, ordinary citizens, politicians, or entrepreneurs, they are very fond of sports.

You may familiar with American football, it is one of the most popular sports in the USA, it has its own features, but as a Chinese student, I know basketball better than football.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is the major professional basketball league in the world, with teams from the United States and Canada. I believe that as long as you live on the earth you will know much about NBA. In Chinese, a large number of people are fond of watching NBA, and the fans have their own love team, including me, I prefer to Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA has 30 teams in two divisions the Eastern

Conference and Western Conference. It is divided into two parts of the regular season and playoffs. And now it is during the playoffs.

And the following are some excellent players. The first one is Michael Jordan. In 1984 Michael Jordan and five other members of the gold medal winning U.S. Olympic team entered the NBA, and the NBA comes to its most magnificent period with its brightest star, Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls in winning consecutively three NBA champions in 1991-1993. And Until now, still no player can receive the achievement beyond Jordan.

The next one is Yaoming, who is thought to be the best player in china. Yao played for Shanghai team before he went to America to achieve his dream. He was chosen by Rockets as the NO.1 in 2003 NBA draft of achievement. Yao Ming made a great contribution for the Rockets, but now he has retired.

As an old saying goes,’ Life lies in movement.’it’s not hard to blend sports into life, yet there are two prerequisites. One is that you must be aware of the importance of doing exercises. The other is you should have patience and perseverance to stick it out. Then go ahead to make your life more athletic.

Some students want to go into a profession that requires an university degree. But there are other professions that do not require a degree, but require certification from a technological college. The reasons why students make decisions to go to technical college instead of university probably have a lot to do with their choice of career, their own academic abilities and their financial situation. First of all, students make their choices for post-secondary education based on the fields that interest them. A student who is interested in medicine might decide to university, into a pre-med program to prepare to become a doctor, or they might go to nursing school or a nursing program in a technical college. Some career choices offer a choice of educational route. The university route is usually more intense and takes longer. For example, an interior designer might take a one or two year program at a college, or choose to do the degree program as a part of the architectural department at a university. Other career choices involve certification that is available at a college, like broadcast journal or

绝对不应期absolute refractory period The time interval during which a cell is incapable of initiating a second action potential. 动作电位action potential An action potential is a rapid change in the membrane potential.

A summary is a short account giving the main points of something longer or detailed.
