要点全解

1.This is a photo of Tony’s family.这是托尼的一张家庭照。1)photo是可数名词,意为“照片”。Picture也有”照片”之意,但范围比photo广,有“画,画像,图片”等多种意思,如:

Let’s take a photo.咱们照张相吧。

His picture is very good.他的画很好。

2)of 介词,意为“…的”,常用来表示所属关系,表示无生命物体的所有格常用“所有物+of+所属物”的形式。如:

A map of China.一幅中国地图。

Desks and chairs of our school。我们学校的课桌椅。

3)family可数名词意为“家庭”,其复数形式变y为i,再加-es,即families,

类似的词还有city,factory等

注意:family是集合名词,作主语时,若指家庭这个整体,则谓语动词用单数形式,指家庭成员时,被视为复数,谓语动词要用复数形式。

2.What a big family!

本句是一个省略了主语和谓语的感叹句,完整的句子是:What a big family it is!感叹句便是说话人的喜怒哀乐等情绪,带有明显的感情色彩,句末常用感叹号。感叹句多用what 或how引导,what引导的感叹句结构为:what+(a/an)+形容词+名词(+主语+谓语)!如:

What a clever boy ( he is) (他是个)多聪明的男孩啊!

What beautiful flowers they are !多漂亮的花儿啊!

【拓展】what 引导的感叹句感叹名词,而how引导的感叹句感叹形容词或副词,结构为:

How+形容词、副词(+主语+谓语)

How clever boy he is !他多聪明啊!

How fast he runs! 他跑地多块啊!

助记口诀:感叹句并不难,what 或how放句前,强调部分要弄清,what 或how好分明,强调名词用what,其余情况how来用,为了简洁而明了,主谓省去了常见。

3.My mum’s parents are on the left,and my dad’s

①Mum’s “妈妈的”,名词所有格,如:

This is my mum’s room。这是我妈妈的房间。

【拓展】名词所有格的构成:

1)一般情况下加“’s ”:My fathter’s car

2) 以“s”结尾的复数名词在词尾加“’”:my parents’ room.

3) 表示两者或者两则以上共有的,在最后一个名词后加“’s”:Lucy and Lily’s mother.露西和莉莉的妈妈

4)若表示两者各自所有,则在两个名词后分别加“’s”:Tom’s and Jim’s rooms 助记口诀:英语名词所有格,表示某物是“谁的”,若所有格构成有方法,多数要把’s加,复数词尾有“s”只加撇“’”就可以。

【拓展】指示代词的几个用法

1)在回答主语是this或that 的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时,为了避免重复,在答语中用it来代替问句中的this 或that。当回答主语是these或those的问句时,在答语中用they来代替问句中的these或those,当主语是指的是人单数时,单数用she或he来代替this或that,当主语是指人复数时,用they来代替these或those 如:

2)在介绍某人时,用“this is ……”而不用“He/She is”

4)that is可以缩写成that’s,而this is 不能缩写成“this’s”如:This is a pen(不能写成This’s a pen)
