近年来，取消职称外语的呼声越来越高。很多新闻爷爷标着职称英语取消的标题，那么职称英语真的取消了么?

目前至少已有北京、广东、河南、山东4 个省份和浙江温州出台政策，明确职称外语不作统一要求或职称外语不作为职务评审必备条件。此外，山西、江西、吉林长春、江苏常州等地提出，申报中级及以下专业技术资格不作职称外语要求。

记者致电北京市人社局，相关工作人员回复称，按照往年惯例，职称外语考试一般在12 月报名，来年3 月考试，如何取消职称外语考试，目前还没有具体文件出台。不过，北京市中小学教师今年已取消职称外语和计算机应用能力考试要求。北京师大二附中体美处主任李伟说，学校组织教师申报职称时，已不需要提供职称外语的考试成绩了。

一位地方高校人事部门负责人告诉记者，尽管中央已有明确政策，但目前职称评审中，他们仍然不敢轻易取消职称外语水平要求。因为现在教育部门与学校对教授级高级职称都有人数限制，符合条件人员远比职数多。

在此背景下，职称外语考试相当于设定一道门槛，将外语水平不达标的一部分群体自动挡在评审之外。这位负责人说，取消职称外语后，有限的职数如何评选分配将进一步成为难题。

中国人事科学研究院原院长吴江说：过去职称评审标准、程序要求都是全国统一的，现在中央规定由用人主体主导，但对如何确定用人主体、如何具体落实没有统一要求，因此多数省份仍在等待观望。
