1．My Ideal Job

My dream job will be working in one of the biggest international accounting firm as an accountant.

I want to be an accountant because I love mathematics and business so much. Also, being an accountant can help me to explore my knowledge of business and provide me a board range of network among the business world. I need to do a lot in order to achieve my goal. First, I have to get an undergraduate degree in accounting from college. Then I might either to go graduate school for a more advanced degree in accounting or get prepare for the CPA exam. With the CPA lisence, I have a better opportunity to get a job in the accounting firm. Finally, with my experience in the accounting firm, I can apply accounting position in the international accounting firm and to serve as an accountant there。

2.The Computer

The computer is widely used in all phases of society. In industry, business, education, medicine, nearly all walks of life, computers have made their appearance, providing great speed and accuracy for our work. Computers have been used in the home, offices, laboratories and research institutions, functioning as the most efficient and versatile instruments for calculating, sorting, filing, recording and distributing. Computers are indispensable to modern civilization. Without computers, our life and our society will undoubtedly suffer a big regression.

During the past five decades the computer has been rapidly advanced. Ever since the computer came into being, it has experienced the development of several generations, which are based respectively on vacuum tube, transistor and integrated circuit. Early computers were of great size, and had no match for the latest electronic computers in speed and accuracy. The Latter is capable of processing the most complicated information and reaching solution to problems in a fraction of time. At present, efforts are being made not only to bring the hardware to perfection, but also to improve the quality of the software.

3. About TV Ads

Today more and more advert isements are seen on the TV screen. It’s difficult to find a program without insertion of ads on TV. Food, clothes -- everything you can think of --are presented on television. Occasionally, we can also see some public welfare ads, appealing to people to respect the old or to protect the environment.

As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of TV ads because some of them are interesting and informative. But there is no denying that some of them are tedious and not trustworthy.

Therefore, I think it is really high time that the TV stations strengthened the control of of advertisements and made them more attractive .

4. Changes in Our Life

Over the past twenty years or so, great changes have taken place in our life. Take my family for example. My parents contacted others mainly by sending them letters in the past. But now we Call long distance at home.

And once my parents listened to the radio for news and other information. But now we get the news by watching TV. Another big change is in my living conditions. When they got married about twenty years ago, my parents lived in a small room crowded with fiirniture. But now we have moved into a big new three-room apartment. In short, our life has become comfortable and convenient.

5. The way to success

There is no dobut that everybody wants to achieve success. Me either.

To accomplish your goal, the most important thing is outstanding willpower rather than the method. Liyang kept practising his oral english and spoke out loudly 1 hour every day in the ninth floor of his working site to improve his english profiency. Mr.Zhongdaolong insisted on dictation along with the tape on 20 pieces of A4 paper everyday to pursuing success. Moreever, those giants who made miracles in career are having much more determination and willpower than that of common guys. Therefore, in my unstanding, If you want to make some success in specific filed, you have to firstly cultiviate kind of spirit of willpower. This is the first stop to approch success and also the only way lead to success.

6. Why do students learn English?

Recently more and more students want to learn English and they are supposed to learn. And there are different reasons.

First of all, China has enteres WTO and has more chance to make trade with foreign countries. It gives the students a chance to go abroad and communicate with foreign people.

Secondly, English is an international language. Many people in the world speak English and it is important that Chinese students learn English and go for the trade.

Thirdly, learning English helps one improve one's ability. For example, speaking English more stimulate our language talent.

All in all, learning English is necessary.

7.Interest Is the Best Teacher

These days,i have been keeping on reading articles from New Concept English.It's a nice way to send your voice into our space,you can enjoy your own voice when you are free, another advantage is you can compare

the voice you read now and before , you can feel your progress according to

the voice record.When you read another article, you have tried to adjust the pronunciation and tone of some words and sentences you think you can't read well before.

After i have nearly finished reading the texts N0.2 New Concept English, I felt it's not enough to be only satisfied with correct pronunciation, i hope to have an active expression and different speeds, different characters should use different tones.When you give yourself a higher standard,sometimes you have to read many times,but i dont feel boring and tired to read the article as usual.It seems i am correcting my works.If you read these articles with such attitude,don't you think you will be able to speak English better and better very soon?

I have read the first three articles of No.3 New Concept English today,I feel the article is longer and harder than No.2., but i will keep on reading the

8、Money Is Not Everything

As we all known,there are so many people think that money is everything.They struggled for money their whole life.However, in my opinion, money doesn’t mean everything. You may ask why,then I will tell you the reason.

Many people view that the richer, the happier.But,does money can really bring the true happiness?Of course it can afford many things but not everything.You can buy a house but not family,you can buy a rose but not love. There are still something it can not afford.And,the 'something' means the true happiness.

And money is not the real treasure.The real treasures in the world,including heath, care, wisdom, courage, are all impossible to be exchanged.One would lose the way if he or she gets addicted in money. When facing money, they would forget their real treasures. The only thing they are likely to conduct is trying every means to get money, deceiving, stealing, robbing or even killing.In that case,money is the bad thing.

We shouldn't be the servant of money but the user.Because money is not everything but a tool.
