lease rent 的用法
这两个词有什么差别呢?

说到房地产租赁,英文有 rent、let、lease 三字,但三字意思有点不同.Rent可以指“出租”或“租用”,例如：（1）Tom has rented the house to Mary for／at $10,000 a month.（汤姆把房子租给了玛丽,每月租金一万元.）（2）Mary has rented the house from Tom.（玛丽向汤姆租了这栋房子.）Let 只能指“出租”,例如：Tom has let the house to Mary for／at 10,000 a month.
要出租的房子,往往会挂上 For let 或 To let 二字：For let 是美式说法,To let 则是英式.Lease 和 rent 一样,指“出租”或“租用”都可,但强调的是双方签了租约：lease 作名词,就是“租约”,例如：Both parties have signed the lease.（双方都在租约上签了字.）作名词,rent 是指“租金”,例如：Mary had the house at a rent of $10,000 a month.（玛丽以每月一万元的租金租用房子.）
