A NEW DIMENSION OF LIFE

19th January

I'm sitting in the warm night air with a cold drink in my hand and reflecting on the day — a day of pure magic! I went snorkelling on the reef offshore this morning and it was the most fantastic thing I have ever done. Seeing such extraordinary beauty, I think every cell in my body woke up. It was like discovering a whole new dimension of life.

The first thing I became aware of was all the vivid colours surrounding me — purples, reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens. The corals were fantastic —they were shaped like fans, plates, brains, lace, mushrooms, the branches of trees and the horns of deer. And all kinds of small, neat and elegant fish were swimming in and around the corals.

The fish didn't seem to mind me swimming among them. I especially loved the little orange and white fish that hid in the waving long thin seaweed. And I also loved the small fish that clean the bodies of larger fish —I even saw them get inside their mouths and clean their teeth! It seemed there was a surprise waiting for me around every corner as I explored small caves, shelves and narrow passages with my underwater flashlight: the yellow and green parrotfish was hanging upside down, and sucking tiny plants off the coral with its hard bird-like mouth; a yellow-spotted red sea-slug was sliding by a blue sea-star; a large wise-looking turtle was passing so close to me that I could have touched it.

There were other creatures that I didn't want to get too close to —an eel with its strong sharp teeth, with only its head showing from a hole, watching for a tasty fish (or my tasty toe!); and the giant clam half buried in some coral waiting for something to swim in between its thick green lips. Then there were two grey reef sharks, each about one and a half metres long, which suddenly appeared from behind some coral. I told myself they weren't dangerous but that didn't stop me from feeling scared to death for a moment!

and I thought I was very brave when I swam over the edge of the reef and hung there looking down into the depths of the ocean. My heart was beating wildly —I feltvery exposed in such deep clear water.

这个海底世界是多么美妙,多么漫无边际啊!而我在这个极大的世界中又是多么渺小!

“I want to encourage sport for all, meaning that anyone can take part,”he said. “When you watch sport now, it's all about world-beating techniques and skills. Hide-and-seek is a sport that anybody can play, from children as young as 4 years old to those who are in their 80s.”

“One of the beauties of the sport is that it can be played anywhere,”Hazaki said. Although light woodland tends to offer the best opportunities for the game, he prefers competitions in gardens and even on beaches. It becomes more difficult if there are a lot of mosquitoes or other insects.

Successful players generally have the ability to run very fast at the start of the game to put some distance between themselves and the seeker. Being able to find a good hiding spot is obviously important, as well as being able to keep very still.

“We are trying to arrange games all across Japan so that many people can play and see how much fun it is. It may be difficult to get hide-and-seek into the Olympics but I see Tokyo 2020 as a big chance,”Hazaki said.

Larry was on another of his underwater expeditions (探险) but this time, it was different. He decided to take his daughter along with him. She was only ten years old. This would be her first trip with her father on what he had always been famous for.

Larry first began diving when he was his daughter's age. Similarly, his father had taken him along on one of his expeditions. Since then, he had never looked back. Larry started out by renting diving suits from the small diving shop just along the shore. He had hated them. They were either too big or too small. Then, there was the instructor. 【新课标】2019年全日制小学《道德与法治》课程标准思想品德课是向小学生比较系统地进行共产主义思想品德教育的一门课程。它是我们学校教育社会主义性质的一个重要标志,在小学教育中居于重要地位。它对引导学生从小逐步形成良好的思想品德,促进学生在德育、智育、体育、美育等方面全面发展,具有十分重要的作用。 教学目的 通过以“五爱”和“五讲四美”为中心的社会公德教育和社会常识教育(包括必要的生活常识、浅显的政治常识以及同小学生生活有关的法律常识),从小培育学生社会主义国家公民应有的良好的思想品德和行为习惯,为使他们成为有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的社会主义建设各类人才打下初步的思想基础。 教学内容和基本要求 一、对学生进行爱国主义教育和共产主义理想的启蒙教育。教育他们继承中华民族的优良传统和中国共产党的革命传统,培养他们热爱社会主义祖国、热爱中国共产党、热爱人民的感情,帮助他们初步树立为人民服务的思想和实现社会主义四个现代化、振兴中华的志向。 二、对学生进行集体主义教育。培养他们热爱集体、遵守纪律、团结友爱、关心他人、助人为乐等良好品德。 三、对学生进行文明礼貌的教育。培养他们尊敬师长、尊老爱幼、礼貌待人、遵守秩序、讲究卫生等良好的品德和行为习惯。 四、对学生进行努力学习、热爱科学的教育。培养他们积极进取、

勤学好问的学习态度和实事求是、独立思考、勇于实践、勇于创造的科学精神。 五、对学生进行热爱劳动、艰苦奋斗的教育。教育他们懂得劳动光荣,劳动没有贵贱之分,珍惜劳动成果,爱护公共财物,逐步培养他们勤劳节俭的习惯以及自己管理自己的生活和帮助家庭、别人、公众的能力。 六、对学生进行社会主义民主和法制观念的启蒙教育。引导他们从小学习过民主生活,平等待人,有事大家商量,懂得少数服从多数的道理,逐步树立遵纪守法观念。 七、对学生进行良好的意志、品格的教育。逐步培养他们诚实、正直、谦虚、宽厚、勇敢、开朗、有毅力、负责任、守时守信、自尊自爱。 八、在辩证唯物主义观点指导下,引导学生学习怎样正确地看待周围的事物,逐步培养他们判断是非和辨别真假、善恶、美丑的初步能力。 教学要点 低年级低年级主要进行生活常识和日常行为准则的教育,也要进行一点浅显的政治常识教育。着重教育学生心中有他人,初步培养良好的学习、生活和劳动习惯,开始培养自己管理自己生活的能力。 一、知道自己是中国人,知道我国的国名、国歌、首都、重大节日;知道毛泽东主席、周恩来总理、刘少奇主席、朱德委员长,知道党和国家现任的主要领导人;认识国旗、国徽、版图、党旗、军旗、

道德与法治新课标培训心得体会 马凡淑 开学前夕,我参加了教育局组织的新课标培训,虽然只有短短的一天时间,但是我获益匪浅。课堂上每一位学员听得都很认真,授课老师的讲解更是声情并茂,细雨如丝,我兴奋激动的听着,仿佛又回到了学生时代。我从两个方面阐述我这次培训的心得体会。 一,首先是思想上的转变。 我所任科目是七年级数学。说实在的,没有教过这门课程,以前,学校虽然让我教思品,我很想认真的去对待它,在我的思想中一直把它当副科。听了杨老师的讲课以后,我现在非常自责,我觉得我爱钱的想法是多么的错误啊,上好思品课是多么多么关键的事情啊!我们的教育恰恰缺乏的就是对孩子的思想上、心理上、行为上的教育啊!育人先育心,一味的抓高分,升学率,使我们的孩子失去了快乐,失去了个性的发展,也更失去了我们中国几千年来的传统美德。现在的孩子不知道感恩的很多,不讲诚信的很多,不文明的很多,不勤俭的很多……所有这些难道不值得我们反思吗?我想通过这次学习首先值得反思的就是我们的教育,我们的思品教师,我们肩上的胆子太沉重了,正向课上老师所说的我们得自己把思品当回事,我们必须把它上好。

其次是理念的转变。 二,教材的变化 这次新课标培训,我们的教材又有了新的变化,它更加人性化,贴近学生的实际,更加贴近社会,贴近生活。它充分挖掘教材资源、充分挖掘学生资源以及充分挖掘社会资源。学生的主体性充分得到发展。 三,课堂的变化 以往的一言堂、填鸭式的教育太陈旧了,新课程要求教师要善于学习、广泛汲取,合理利用教材现有教育资源与合理扩充。讲究的是师生的互动,生生的互动。我们应充分利用各种资源,结合新课程的特点,加强学生活动设计与研究,教学中努力创设宽松、愉悦、和谐、平等的课堂氛围,吸引学生参与。 四,树立不断学习的观念。 在这次培训中,老师的讲解让我折服,我与他们的差距真是太大了,我想只有不断学习才能适应这个飞速发展的社会的需要,才能在自己的工作中游刃有余,真正地作到以“学生为本”,为学生服务。 以上是我对这次培训的一些肤浅认识,总是心中有很多话,确实无文彩表达。这次培训应该说是非常及时的,相信此次的学习,能在自己今后的常规教学工作中发挥重要作用。总之,教师要不断深入钻研教材,读出教材的本意和新
