获奖课教案说课稿

7A Unit 5 Going Shopping

Main task

江苏省启东中学茅锦美

(此课为2008年9月初中优课比赛一等奖)

Teaching aims:

I. Knowledge aim

Learn new words: note, bus stop, taxi, taxi rank, center, however more, before.

II. Ability aim

a. Learn to read a guide of a shopping mall.

b. Write a passage about a shopping mall.

III. Emotional aim

a. Learn to take care of their mothers.

b. Learn to help other people.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 A free talk.

Listen to a song of shopping.

T: Do you like shopping? Tomorrow is weekend, you can go shopping. Many teachers come to our school today. They like shopping, too. But they are new here. They don’t know where to buy things. They need help. Do you want to be their guides? But if you want to be a good guide, you must pass the following two levels:

Step 2 Reading and answering

T: Are you ready? Let’s try to pass the first level.

First I want to know if you can understand Simon’s notes about the new shopping mall. In the notes, Simon writes some new phrases. Look at the pictures and tell me what they are.

(computer games center,shopping mall, a bus stop,

taxi rank)

2. Read Simon’s notes and answer the questions.

(1) Where is the shopping mall?

It’s near a bus stop and a taxi rank.

(2) How many floors are there in the shopping mall?

There are five floors.

(3) Which floor are the restaurants on?

They are on the top floor.

(4) Is there a big cinema in the shopping mall?

Yes, there is.

(5) Are there many people in the computer games centre?

Yes, there are.

Check the answers with the Ss.

Step 3 Filling in the blanks

T: Help Simon complete the guide by using the notes in Part A.

Check the answers with the whole class.

Read the guide once freely and answer the question:

How many paragraphs are there?

Read again and answer:

How many parts are there in the passage?

Part 1 (Para1) Introduction

Where is it?

Part 2 (Para2-5) Main body

What’s on each floor?

Part 3 (Para6) Conclusion

It is a good place to go.

T: You have passed the first level. Congratulations!

You can go on.

Step4 Discussion and writing

Try to pass the second level.

1. Groupwork: Showing the picture of Star Shopping Mall, look at the picture. This is Star Shopping Mall. Work in groups of four to talk about Star Shopping Mall. (Four Ss a group, each student describe one Para to the other three.)

2. Please complete the notes about Star Shopping Mall. Check the answers with the Ss.

3. After finishing the notes, ask students to write an outline for their writing.

Then let students write a passage to describe Star Shopping Mall.

4. Ask some students to read their writing in the front.

T: Congratulations

You have passed the second level.

You have the ability to be a guide

Step5 Going shopping

T: You are a guide now. Let’s go shopping. Let’s go to Nonggongshang Supermarket

Group work: (6 students a group) One of you is a guide of NGS Supermarket, the other five can ask any questions, e.g.

Where is NGS Supermarket?

Where can I buy a bag?

Where can we eat fast food?

Then choose some good guides to answer all the students’ questions in the front .

Get the Ss to describe Para by Para orally with the help of the outline.

T: You are good guides today. You are helpful to teachers.

Step6 Homework

1. Write an article to describe Nonggongshang Supermarket.

2. Oral work. Tomorrow is Women’s Day, talk about what present you’ll buy for your mother.

本课的教学目标是:通过学习,使学生有一定的语篇意识,了解如何写文章,能够写一份大型购物中心的指南,并且能够描述大型购物中心的布局。

学情分析:学生现在基本能说短句,语篇意识意识并不强,而且他们对生活中熟悉的人和事感兴趣。本课的购物素材正是他们所感兴趣的事。为了提高学生的学习兴趣,我采用了学生感兴趣的闯关游戏。在教学方法上,我采用了task-based teaching method,question-and-answer teaching method and free discussing teaching method.I help the studentl to learn by reading, pair work and group work 等方法来突破难点。

教学步骤

本课在设计上分为三大板块,始终以能够成为一个合格的导购员为主线,只有闯过两关才可以有导购资格,并在第三关展现学生出色的导购能力。这种设计能够引起学生对所学内容的兴趣,通过闯关使他们获得成功感,最后在情景导购中使学生达到了用英语的目的。

Step 1 让学生读notes然后回答问题,并且把文章补充完整。

本环节的目的是:培养学生捕捉信息的能力。

Step 2 让学生分析文章,说出每一部分的大意。

本环节的目的是:培养学生的语篇意识能力。

Step3 让学生分组讨论Star Shopping Mall,并完成提纲。

本环节的目的是:培养学生的合作能力和口语表达能力。

Step4 写一篇关于Star Shopping Mall布局文章。

本环节的目的是:培养学生的写作能力。

Step5到超市去购物。

本环节的目的是:培养学生的语言实际运用能力。

在刚刚完成的Main Task 教学中,我主要是借鉴了一些优质课堂教学资源中的教学思路来完成的。使学生掌握了本课的教学目标,通过学习能够描述购物中心。我根据学生的实际的特点,加入自己的教学方式,并进行了适当拓展,使优质的教学资源能够深入课堂,实用于课堂。我在教学过程中采用了适合我们自己的学生的教学方法,并让学生把所学的知识运用到实际生活中,达到学英语、用英语的目的。
