1．Why not write down our mistakes in our notebooks?
为什么不把错误记在我们的笔记本上呢？
1) why not …?用来表示提出建议，相当于why don’t you/we …?
e.g. Why not take a walk after supper? = Why don’t you take a walk after supper?
2) write down 表示“写下，记下”
e.g. Let’s write down the correct answers.
How about writing down your ideas?

would like to do sth.想要做某事(常在单项填空中考查would like 后接不定式的用法)

10.be famous for 因…而出名（后接出名的原因）China is famous for the Great Wall. be famous as 作为…而出名（后接表职位，身份等的词）Jet Li is famous as an actor.
be famous to 为某人所熟知（后接某人）This singer is famous to many old people.
语法要点
比较级前可以用如(much, far, a lot, a little, even, still) 来修饰, 或者是数量词组来修饰。如：

When you learn English , you find it not clever to put an English sentence, word by word, into your own language. Take the sentence “How do you do?” as an example. If y ou look up each word in the dictionary , one at a time, what is your translation? It must be a wrong sentence in you own language.
Languages do not just have different sounds they are different in many ways. It’s important to master(掌握) the rules for word order in the study of English, too. If the speaker puts the words in a wrong order, the listener can’t understand the speaker’s sentence easily. Sometimes when the order of words in an English sentence is changed, the meaning of the sentence won’t be cha nged. But sometimes when the order is changed , the meaning of the sentence doesn’t change. Let’s see the difference between the two pairs of sentences below.
“She only likes apples.” Only she likes apples.”
“I have seen the film already.” “I have already seen the film..”
