如何打好英语写作基础

一、注重英语写作技能的培养

1.抓基础多动

写作是学生综合语言使用水平的体现,不是一朝一夕就能练好的。于是开学伊始,就应该让学生从字母开始,逐词逐句临摹字帖,准确

使用标点符号,反复多练,练好一手漂亮的英文字。

2.重口语多动口

利用多媒体课件,课上练习对话,熟背课文,课下利用Free Talk 训练他们能说流利的英语,从而自如地表达自己的思想感情。中学生

善于模仿,通过背诵课文,一些句子就会在学生心中生根,在写作中

实行模仿,凭语感和课文结构,利用个人的智慧和对作文题目要求的

理解,学生就会写出语法准确,句意通顺,结构严谨规范的作文。

3.仿写、改写练习

如学了“My Favorite Subiect” 后,要求学生写“MyFavo rite Animal”,“My Favorite Teacher”等短文。这个活动基于学生个人

兴趣、自身生活经验和认知水平,既能够展示学生语言使用水平,又

增进了学生间的相互了解。模仿的目的在于实践,实践才能检验学生

的写作水平和水平,写作实践也能提升和巩固学生的写作水平。

4.实用趣味训练

词组是句子的组成部分,词组积累的多少决定文章是否精彩。所

以我在平日教学中注重词组的积淀,利用“词组接龙”丰富学生的词

汇量。句子是文章的基本单位,我常常有意识地引导学生从句子开始,

实行连句成文的训练。上课时,我采取“问答一连句成篇”的方式,

教师口头提问,将学生的答案写在黑板上,然后师生互动,用一些关

联词连句成篇。学生逐步学会用简单的句子表达思想,并学会用一个

语篇来表达连贯的思想。

二、批改英语作文时应遵守的原则

1.重视学生情感态度

展开情感态度评价是保持学生学习热情的一条有效途径。教师不

但要评价学生的学习水平、学习态度,更要注重学生在写作学习中的

表现。教师应把评价定位在激励学生的进步和发展上。教师应鼓励学

生多纵向比较,少横向比较,让学生看到自己的进步,体验成功的快乐,从而成为学英语的动力。

2.注重语言的顺畅

行文是否连贯顺畅,决定学生是否会使用连接词与过渡语。过渡

语在写作中使用得当,能够给文章增辉添彩,能够使描写更细致人微,说明文层次清楚,条分缕析,使文章说服力更强。反之,则使文章逻

辑不清,显得生硬,乏味。虽然初一学生只学过and、but、or但仍然

要鼓励他们活学多用,使文章增色添彩。

3.符合语言的标准

文章写得精彩与否,决定于修饰语的多少,文章的成与败,决定

于主谓是否一致;词性、词组、句型使用是否准确;动词的时态、第三

人称单数的使用是否准确;是否注意名词的单复数与不可数,简单句、

并列句、复合句的使用是否适当。现以“My Favorite EnglishTeacher”一文为例,分析学生暴露出的很多问题。

4.明确文章要求

这与学生审题是否清楚,格式使用、人称把握是否准确相关。对

命题作文必须认真审题,自由作文必须立好“意”,有明确的主题。

以前面那篇命题作文“MyFavorite English Teacher”为例,文章的主题是关于记叙“我最喜欢的一位英语教师”,因而就不能泛泛而谈教师这个职业。在写作过程中学生必须按照提示的范围和要求来写文章,提示的内容是文章的总体框架,学生应该在提示内容的范围内实行分析、构思、想象和发展段落。
