大学英语四级作文评分标准和等级15分定为满分；占总分的15%。

特别注意：及格分值定为9分；最低分值定为6分。

6分写作最低分制，是根据目前考生作文得分的平均值，由教育部高等教育司和大学英语四、六级考试委员会制定，目的是进一步重视英语写作教学和学生书面表达能力的培养。具体规定如下：

1，学生作文得0分时，若总分高于60分，报导时一律59分不及格处理。

2，学生作文大于0分时，小于6分时，则按下式计算成绩：最后报导得分＝原计算总分分值﹣6﹢实得作文分值

如：原计算总分分值为63，实得作文2分，
