My holidays

I had happy summer holidays. I went to Beihai with my father this July. The weather was good. We went to the beach. I learnt swimming. I could swim faster and faster.

My day

I always get up at 6:30a.m. I often have breakfast at 7:00a.m. Then, I wave goodbye to my mother and go to school. I return home at 5:00p.m. I often do my homework before dinner. After dinner, I play chess with my father. This is my day.

My diary

In the morning, I went to the cinema with my sister. We saw a film. In the afternoon, we went to the park. We had a picnic there. We played games. I had a good time today.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important festival in China. All the people like it. People celebrate the festival together. We always have a big family dinner on the Mid-Autumn Festival. We eat fruits and mooncakes, too. We look at the moon. We also drink Chinese tea. We are very happy.

Help old people

Last Sunday, my classmates and I went to the Old People’s Family. There are many old people there. We would like to help them.

Lingling and Anne helped them to wash their clothes. Mingming and Peter helped them to clean their rooms. What did others do? We sang to them and made them happy.

We had a good time there, and the old people were happy. We will go there next Sunday.
