Learning aims

Use the knowledge that learned to read, revise and consolidate the knowledge that learned using one day’s schedule. Including : the subjects and teachers that like and dislike and the reasons. And use the knowledge to describe your favorite day and the reasons. Learn to make a schedule. Teaching procedures

Step 1 Preparation

1.Play a video Days of the week:

T: What is the video about?

Ss: It is about the days of a week.

T: How many days are there in a week?

Ss: Seven.

T: What day is it today?

Ss: It is ...

T: At first let's learn the seven days of a week.

Step 2 Presentation& Practice

Presentation 1

Learn new words.

Show the class schedule to the students, and lead students to learn the new words: This is Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday .

We have math at 8：05 A.M. on Monday．

We have art at 3：00 P.M on Tuesday．

We are very busy from Monday to Friday, but we are free on Saturday and Sunday.

Brainstorm

Ask students the question: What's your favorite teacher/ food/ subject/ singer...? Why? Why not? Collect as many descriptions as we can, and
