Unit 2 I’d like a hamburger

第1课时

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词hamburger, sandwich, Coke, fish,chicken,beef 。

2.句型: What would you like?I’d like a Coke.

1.重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词hamburger, sandwich, Coke, fish,chicken,beef 。能询问他人“What woul d you like?”并能运用“I’d like a…/ some…”表达个人的需求。

2.难点:“I’d like a…/ some…”的理解和运用。

单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。

Step 1热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)

1.Greetings

2.Game:Brain storm

T: What food do you know?What drinks do you know?

Ss: Ice cream,apple,orange…

要求学生将知道的关于食物和饮料的单词说出来。在说的过程中,进行大组之间的游戏竞争,每答对一个加一分,并及时板书所说的单词。板书如下:

Food:cake,hamburger,hot dog,dumplings,bun,bread,mooncake, apple,orange,peach,pear,banana, beef,mutton,pork, ice cream…

Drink:coffee,tea,milk,Coke,orange juice…

Step 2新课呈现(Presentation)

1.New words

(1)Listen to the tape of Part B and repeat. 有些词以前接触过,要鼓励学生听清,发准音。

(2)运用“直观教学法”教授新单词,让学生学习生活中的英语。教师出示单词卡片,学生先看图说单词,然后过渡到看单词想图画。

(3)游戏:看口型,猜单词

由于学生对食品单词不陌生,熟读几遍后,就能脱口而出。为了检验他们发音的准确性,可采用简单易操作的方法,来鼓励全体学生的参与激情。教师夸张而缓慢地做口型,全班学生猜。也可以叫几名学生当“对口型演员”来参与游戏。

任务的设置以课本为主,体现了教材既可以用来学,也可以拿来做练习,充分挖掘了教材的使用功能。

角色扮演让学生进一步熟悉对话。

难点突破:注意“would you like”的连续,符合西方人的口语习惯。

Step 3趣味练习(Practice)

1.情境游戏:Design a menu

某餐厅招聘配菜师,欢迎大家参加应聘。招聘要求是:设计一个营养菜谱。请以4人小组为单位,设计英文菜谱,还可以配上简图。设计后,要求每组隆重介绍菜谱内容。如:We have chicken,noodles,coffee and ice cream.

2.游戏:擦黑板比赛

学生分成两组,进行擦黑板比赛。在热身环节的大脑风暴游戏中,已经板书了很多食物类单词。在此游戏中,要求学生利用句型“I’d like…”表达想吃的东西。每组轮流说一个句子,说到的单词就可以擦掉,不能重复说已擦掉的单词。

Step 4作业布置(Homework)

1.跟读A、B部分课文。

2.和同学两人一组合作表演对话。

3.抄写B部分单词,并默写。
