一个事业很成功的朋友给我说以前的他不是非常有自信的人，直到中年之后去美国修硕士学位，在一次考试之后，同学问他得到什么分数，他答：“得到A而同学只得到B，而那次的考试全是申论题，以他一个外国人用不熟悉的语言去跟外国人竞争，还能得到A，是非常不简单的事情。”从此之后就开始增强自信，认为其实他不但不比同学差，而且还比这些外国同学还优秀许多。他又说：“企业要不断的壮大，就是要用比你能力强的人作你的部属，这个企业才会强大”试想，如果没有相当的自信，一般人怎么敢用能力比他强的部属呢？

其实每个人对自信的铨释，应该都是大同小异吧，我对自信的定义就是“自我承诺”要不断的告诉自己，“我能，我一定能”，只要对自己承诺的事情，不管事情大小，都一定要把它完成，只要你不断完成自己交代给自己的任务，久而久之你就会变成非常有自信的人。

这几年，我发觉自信其实就是自己对自己的肯定，你唯一要对他负责的人，就是自己，当自己承诺要完成某件事情，就一定要想办法完成，因为自信是由内而外慢慢累积而来的。

当你不断的设定目标，不断的完成它，你会对自己愈来愈有自信，所以当自己告诉自已要完成什么事情，学会什么技能，达到什么目标，当你心中已经有了自我承诺，就必需把承诺写下来，甚至公告亲朋好友、同事，让大家知道你设定了什么目标，承诺了什么，然后竭尽全

任何事情的建立，都不是一触可即，必需花费时间与精力去努力，如果刚开始对自己没有什么自信，就暂时假装你是你所想像的那个人。
