There Should Be No "Little Emperors"
This afternoon on my way home I saw lots of people standing:at the gate of the primary school. I didn‘tknow what they are doing there at first. Then a group ofpupils came out of the school.
Those people outside the gate went close to the pupils and called out names like "Lingling", "Fangfang", "Xiaohua", etc. Then I knew they had come
to meet their children.
These children and other children like them are so happy that they are all like "little emperors" It‘s not good at all. Children will be the builders of our-country in the future. There are
so many things for them to learn. Later many things will be done by them. This means that they shouldn‘t be "little emperors"
On the contrary, they should depend on themselves. And they sh0uid do everything they can do without the help of their parents!
Our country‘s future will be held in the hands of today‘s children, and, they will be its masters. So they should learn their parents‘ good habits and get rid of their own 15ad ones. Their
parents can‘t look after them forever.
不应该做“小皇帝”
下午，在回家的路上，我发现一个小学门口站着许多人。起初，我不知道他们在那里
干什么。接着，一群小学生从学校出来了。门口的那些人走近这些学生，并喊叫名字，如“玲玲”、“芳芳”、“小华”等等。我明白了，原来是家长来接孩子的。
像他们这样的小孩被宠得像“小皇帝”一样。做“小皇帝”一点也不好。儿童是祖国
未来的建设者，对他们来说，有很多东西需要学习，以后有很多事情由他们去做。这就意
味着他们不应该做“小皇帝”。
相反，他们应该依靠自己。在没有父母帮助的情况下，他们应该做一些力所能及的事。
我们祖国的未来将掌握在当今儿童手中，他们将是国家的主.人。所以孩子们应学习
父母的良好习惯，去掉自己的不良习惯。须知，父母是不能永远照顾自己的。
团结就是力量 Union Is Strength
I like to play basketball very much, so when I went to middle school, I joined the basketball team. Last week, our team had a match, we were against another school, all of us were so excited
and wanted to win. When the match began, our team worked very slowly, we could not cooperate very well, because this was the first time for us to play. When half match time went, we lagged
behind, our team leader called us together and told us we must get united, so that we could have the chance to win. Then we played hard and cooperated so well, we won the game at last, it was
so amazing, union is strength.
我很喜欢打篮球，因此当我上初中的时候，我加入了篮球队。上周，我们队有一场比赛，是对阵另一个学校，我们都感到很兴奋，因为这是我们第一次大比赛。当比赛半场过去了，我们处于落后，队长把我们叫在了一起，告诉我们必须要团结，这样才有机会赢。我们打得很拼命，配合得很好，最后终于赢得了比赛，真是美妙极了，团结就是力量。
放风筝 Flying Kites
Now I am in winter holiday, I am so happy, I can have fun with my friends. My friends and I make the deal that when the wind comes, we will go to the park and fly kites. Today the wind
finally comes, after finishing breakfast, I go the park with my friends. We take out our kites, mine are butterfly, my friends are birds, all are so funny. I start to let my kite fly, but it
could not, so I run faster and faster, then my kite flies, I go let go
it gradually. A few minutes later, my friends’ kites are also flying. Seeing our kites flying, I feel so free. Today, I
have a great time.
现在我已经放寒假了，我很开心，可以和朋友们玩。朋友们和我约定风来了，我们就去公园放风筝。今天风终于来了，早饭过后，我和朋友们去公园。我们拿出自己的风筝，我的是蝴蝶样，朋友的是鸟的样子，都很有趣。我开始让风筝飞，但是飞不起来，因此我跑得越来越快，风筝终于飞起来了，我慢慢放飞。不一会儿，朋友们的风筝也飞起来了。看到我们的风筝飞着，我觉得很自由。今天，我玩得很开心。
