大学英语考试大纲

（2013年）

为适应我国高等教育发展的新形势，深化教学改革，提高教学质量，满足新时期国家和社会对人才培养的需要，提高考试的信度和效度，根据我校艺体专业学生的英语水平和英语课程的教学实际情况，特制定《吉首大学艺体专业“专升本”大学英语考试大纲》。

一、考试的基本要求

要求学生掌握一些基本的英语语言知识、应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际等方面的内容，熟练地运用词汇、习语、句型和语法结构，了解篇章的结构和语言功能，具有一定的英语听说能力，以及读写译的综合应用技能。

二、考试的范围和内容

考试主要题型有：听力理解、阅读理解、词汇与语法结构、完型填空、翻译或短文写作等。

第一部分：听力理解（Listening Comprehension）20%

听力理解要求能听懂语速为每分钟100个词左右的一般性题材的英语，掌握所听内容的词、句子、对话和短文的大意，抓住要点，并能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。这部分共20题，由A节和B节组成。A节是由10个短对话构成，每个对话之后，有一个问题。B节有两种测试，其一：由三篇短文组成，每篇短文之后有3—4个问题，共10道题；其二：由一篇短文组成，其测试方法为spot dictation，要求学生填写missing words或missing sentences等，共10个空。其目的在于测试考生接受、理解和记忆音响信息的能力，要求考试在限定时间对声音信息作出果断抉择。考试时间为20分钟。

第二部分：阅读理解（Reading Comprehension）40%

1．阅读理解要求能阅读一般性题材的英文文章，通过较大量的阅读实践掌握阅读技巧，提高阅读理解的速度和效率。

2．阅读速度达到每分钟70词。

3．阅读理解短文4篇，每篇长度为300个词左右。每篇短文后有5个问题，考生根据短文内容

从每个问题后的四个选项中选出最佳答案。考试时间为35分钟。

第三部分：词汇与语法结构（Vocabulary and Structure）15%

词汇与语法结构部分要求学生能比较熟练地运用基本语法规则及其词汇。该部分由词汇用法题和语法结构题组成，共30小题。每题提供四个选择项，从每个题后的四个选项中选出最佳答案。考试时间为20分钟。

第四部分：完型填空（Cloze）10%

完型填空的考试要点：主要是词汇、语法和综合理解。它是由一篇题材熟悉、难度适中，长度约为150个词的短文构成。文中留有20个空白，每个空白为一题，每题提供四个选择项。要求考生在全面理解文章内容的基础上，选择一个最佳答案，使短文的意思和结构恢复完整。考试时间为15分钟。

第五部分：翻译或短文写作（Writing）15%

1、翻译共五个句子，要求用所给出的句型或短语将中文句子译成英文。译文基本通顺、达意，

无重大理解和语言错误。考试时间为30分钟。

2、短文写作共一题，要求按试卷上给出的标题和提示写成短文。短文要求结构基本清晰，内容

完整，语句基本通顺，无重大语法错误。考试时间为30分钟。

三、考试形式：笔试（闭卷）

四、考试时间：120分钟

However, in some cultures such as the Japanese, prolonged eye contact is considered rude and is generally avoided. Personal Space: In Europe and North America, business people will usually leave a certain amount of distance between themselves when interacting. In South America or the Middle East, business people are tactile and like to get up close. In Japan, it is not uncommon for people to leave a gap of four feet when conversing. 2. The management style and communication style of the business culture your group presented in contrast to Chinese style. Traditional management styles in Greece are highly directive and paternalistic. Therefore, it is important to give clear instructions which can be easily followed. As relationship bonds run deep in Greek culture, the manager expects loyalty.
