我的家乡—法门寺 我的家乡在扶风县，那里没有巍峨的大山，也没有汹涌的大河，不过在我的家乡，却又很多地方所不具有的特色文化—中国佛教文化法门文化。 法门寺简介 法门寺又称法云寺，坐落于陕西省宝鸡市扶风县城北10公里处的法门镇，距离宝鸡市约100公里，西安市约120公里。法门寺始建于东汉末年桓帝年间，距今有1700多年历史，故有“关中塔庙始祖”之美誉。据记载所言，两千多年前，释迦牟尼遗体火化后结成舍利，印度阿育王为了弘扬佛法，三佛舍利于世界各地，凡得舍利处皆要建塔供养。中国有十九处，法门寺为第五处。 法门寺因舍利而建塔，因塔而建寺。法门寺在隋以前叫“阿育王

寺”，在北魏时期，在当时社会有很高的社会地位，隋文帝改名为“成实道场”，唐高祖李渊正式敕建并更名为“法门寺”，在我国古代历史上，曾多次开坛就地瞻礼舍利。法门寺塔原俗名“圣冢”，后改建为四级木塔，唐高宗显庆年间扩建瑰宁宫二十四院，建筑极为壮观，到了宋代，当朝皇帝将法门寺建筑规模扩充到历史之最，宋徽宗曾亲手手书“皇帝佛国”可见当时法门寺在当时的社会地位。明代法门寺塔因年久而损坏，后由地方富绅集资，历时三十年，修建了八棱十三级砖塔，在此以后，法门寺逐渐没落。 民国二十八年，在爱国志士朱子乔先生的主张下，法门寺进行了自明清以来最大规模的维修。文革期间，红卫兵欲挖地开塔，良卿法师点火自焚，以生命保护了埋藏在法门寺地下的珍宝。 1981年8月24日，宝塔半边倒塌。1986年，中央政府决定重建法门寺，87年2月底重修宝塔，也是在这一年，在沉寂了1113年之后，一个偶然的机会，法门寺2499件大唐国宝重器，簇拥着佛祖真身舍利重返人间！地宫出土的大量稀世珍宝，无论在中国历史政治史、文化史、科技史、中外交流史、美术史等方面的研究上，都有及其重要的价值。1988年法门寺正式开放并成功举办了国际性的佛指舍利瞻礼方法会。海内外诸山长老及其他代表三百多人参加可法会。二十多年来，法门寺在历届方丈澄观法师、净一法师的主持下，相继建成大雄宝殿、玉佛殿、禅堂、祖堂、斋堂、寮房、佛学院等大批仿唐式建筑。 法门寺的主要建筑
