请阅读课本第146页,关于英语基本句型的讲解,完成下面的结论。

英语是一种结构语言,以____________为核心构成___________种基本句型,一般情况谓语前面是行为的____________, 谓语后面是动作的_____________。

其中需特别注意的是【主语+谓语+间接宾语+直接宾语】(双宾语结构)和【主语+谓语+宾语+宾语补足语】两种结构。

1. 【主语+谓语+间接宾语+直接宾语】这种结构中,间接宾语一般是_______(人、物),直接宾语一般是_________(人、物)。如例句:Waiters bring customers tea.

在这种结构中,两个宾语的位置可以交换,即可以将人放在物的后面,但是要在人前面加介词__________ 或_________ 。

如:Waiters bring customers tea. = Waiters bring tea _____________________.

I bought my mother a dress for her birthday. = I bought a dress ________________ for

her birthday.

2. 【主语+谓语+宾语+宾语补足语】这种结构中,动词不定式常常用来做宾语补足语。如例句:My mother wants me to study hard. 在这个句子中,to study 补充说明想要的内容。类似的句型有:ask sb to do sth. / tell sb. to do sth. / help sb. (to) do sth. / advise sb to do sth. 等等。

要注意在有些情况下,动词不定时中的to 必须省略。我们已经学过的有两种情况:1. 使动用法:句型有两个,分别是________ sb. do sth. 和_______ sb. do sth. 2. 表示看到或听到某人做某事时,如果看到动作全过程或___________看到/听到某人做某事要用省略to 的动词不定式。句型为:see/ hear sb. do sth.

三:语法知识:请阅读课本第148页关于宾语从句的讲解,完成下面的总结。

在上一个模块中我们已经了解了英语句子的6中基本结构,并且知道宾语这一句子成分其实就是谓语动作的________。但是宾语有时会是一个完整的句子,而非一个词或者短语。我们把这个句子称为___________。一般情况宾语从句需要用一个引导词来引导,通常宾语从句的引导词有:that, if / whether和特殊疑问词。根据宾语从句所表达意义的肯定与疑问的差别选用不同的引导词。

1. 表达肯定意义用引导词_________ 。

2. 表达是否的含义用______ 或________。

3. 表达什么、那里、怎样等含义用__________。

需要注意的是:引导词that 没有意义,只是引导宾语从句,在大多数情况下都可以_________。if 和whether 都表达是否的含义,而一般情况下,如果宾语从句后面有or not 的话,则要用________ 构成whether … or not 的结构。

[扩展] 宾语从句的时态问题,宾语从句的时态问题要分为两种情况:

1. 当主句为一般现在时,宾语从句的时态根据具体情况来定,不受主句时态的限制。

如:1. He asks if we will go fishing on Sunday. (主句一般现在时,从句一般将来时)

2. I know that Betty didn’t go to school yesterday. (主句一般现在时,从句一般过去时)

2. 当主句为一般过去时,宾语从句一般要用过去的某种时态。

如:1. Lingling said that she often went to school on foot. (从句变为一般过去时。)

2. Daming told me that he would be off to Hong Kong for holiday. ( 一般将来时变为过去将来时, will变为would )

3. Tony remembered that he was tidying up his room then. (从句用过去进行时)

4. Betty asked if we had been to the UK. (从句要用过去完成时have/has 变成had)

[注意] 当宾语从句描述的是客观真理或自然现象时,则只能用一般现在时,不受主句影响。如:Teacher told me that the earth goes around the sun.

练习:用所给词的适当形式填空。

四、功能语言:电话用语。

在英语中,打电话用语和平时用于有些不同的地方,在使用时要特别注意。

1.在接通电话时一般要问对方姓名,应当说,Is that …speaking? 或Is … there? 而不能说

Are you …? 如果要说我找…?可以说:May I speak to …?

2.如果要问对方是谁,应当说Who is that speaking? 或Who is calling? 回答应当说This

is …(speaking)。

3.如果要对方等待,应当说Hold the line please! 或Hold on (for a minute) please!

4.如果要找的人不在家,可以说,Sorry, …isn’t here right now. 或Sorry …isn’t in.

5.出于礼貌,如果对方要找的人不在家,应当询问是否可以捎个口信,应当说Can I take a

message?

三、语法知识:to do 和doing 做宾语。阅读课本149页第三模块关于动词做宾语的内容,完成下面的总结部分。

在句子当中常常会出现【动词】+【动词】的结构,比如汉语:“想要去购物”、“停止说话”、“讨厌听京剧”等,其中第二个动词做的是第一个动词的_________成分。通常这第二个动词会有两种形式_________ 和________。

那么哪些动词后面的动词用to do 哪些后面用doing 呢?这要分为三类动词。

1. 只能加to do 做宾语的动词。动词不定式常常带有要去做某事,还没有做,接下来可能会去做的含义。有些【动词】+【动词】的结构表达的恰恰是这种含义,所以这类动词后一定要接to do 来做宾语。如:want to do, hope to do, 等等。请你再举出至少三个例子__________ __________ __________。

2. 只能加doing 做宾语的动词。一般我们可以理解为当含义不是要去做某事时,就该用doing 来做宾语,而一般doing要么理解经常性、一般性的行为,要么理解成正在进行的事情,如果是这种含义,动词则只能加doing做宾语。如:enjoy doing, finishing doing, 请你再举出至少三个例子。请你举出至少三个例子__________ __________ ___________。

3. 既能+ to do也能+doing 做宾语。一般情况下,这一类动词后面+to do 和+doing 在含义上都有区别,只是个别几个动词,不去强调两种宾语之间的区别了。如:start to do/doing, begin to do/ doing,continue to do/doing。但是大部分动词还是要强调区别的,如:remember to do, 记得要去做某事(还没做)。remember doing sth. 记得做过某事(已做过)forget to do sth. 忘记做某事(没做)forget doing sth. 忘记做过某事。(忘记做过的事)stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事(停下来去做另一件事)stop doing sth.停止做某事

三、语法知识

请阅读课本150页第4模块if 从句(1)的讲解,完成下面的结论部分。

和我们在第二模块所学【if 翻译成是否,引导宾语从句】不同,if 也可以翻译成_________,用来引导条件状语从句。句子常翻译成:如果….,就…。

例如:If you want to listen to music, turn on the radio. 如果你想听音乐,就打开收音机。

从上面的例句可以看出,if 引导的条件状语从句可以放在前面,但是要用_______与主句隔开。if 从句也可以放在后面,这样的话与主句连在一起写就可以。

例如:Have some cake if you are hungry.

大家也可以看出,后面的主句是一个祈使句,我们现在暂时不讨论主句时态的问题,所以只用祈使句。当然,主句可以是任何形式的句子。

条件状语从句的时态问题(1)

当主句为陈述句或疑问句时,则要考虑主句时态与条件状语从句时态的一致问题。我们先来学习其中的一种情况:如果主句的时态是过去的时态,则条件状语从句也应当是过去的时态。反之亦然,如果条件状语从句是过去的时态,则主句也应当是过去的时态。

例:

三、语法知识:含条件状语从句复合句的时态问题(2)

If 引导的条件状语从句往往表示未来的一种条件,在含义上往往翻译成【如果某事发生,则将会……】,这个时候,条件状语从句要用一般现在时,主句用一般将来时。

如例句:If you pass the final exam. I’ll give you a prize. 如果你通过的期末考试,我将会给你一个奖励。

我们可以这样理解:在例句中,条件状语从句的动作【通过考试】,和主句的动作【给你奖励】并不是同时发生的。【通过考试】要发生在【给你奖励】之前,又根据整句意思判断,整件事情发生在将来。那么为了表达出他们发生的先后顺序,【通过考试】这个动作所用的谓语形式,要在将来的基础上往前移一位,于是就成了现在。也可以说,条件状语从句是用一般现在时,代替一般将来时。(这只是一种理解的方式,如果大家暂时不能理解,那就记住这样一条规则就好了:条件状语从句,不能用一般将来时,而要用一般现在时代替一般将来时。)

那么,大家要注意:如果主句是一般将来时,条件状语从句一定要用一般现在时。如果条件状语从句是一般现在时,则主句通常要用一般将来时。
