(2012·江苏省苏北四市高三3月联考)At 2 p．m.on December 5,1945，five Navy aircraft took off in perfect flying weather from a naval air installation in southeastern Florida，on a routine training mission over the Atlantic Ocean.Less than two hours later，the flight commander radioed that he was “completely lost”．Then there was silence.A rescue plane was sent to search for the missing aircraft，and it，too，disappeared.Despite one of history's most extensive search efforts，involving more than 300 planes and dozens of ships，the Navy found nothing，not even an oil stain floating on the water.

Charles Berlitz，a man with an interest in Atlantis，the legendary lost island，puts forward his theory that a giant solar crystal，which once was the power generator for Atlantis，lies on the ocean floor.From time to time，according to his theory，passing ships and planes set off the crystal，which confuses their instruments and engulfs them into the ocean.
Officially，the U．S.Navy does not recognize the triangle as a danger zone and is convinced that “the majority of disappearances in the triangle can be due to the unique features of the area's environment.” These include the swift Gulf Stream current and the unexplored valleys under water of the Atlantic.Also，the triangle is one of only two places on earth where a compass needle points to true north rather than magnetic north，causing problems in navigation.

高三英语第一轮复习课堂教学策略及课堂基本模式 ◆课堂教学策略篇◆ 一、指导思想： 重基础，练技能，抓过程，抓细节，求突破。 加强学习，强化课改，注重实践，不断反思。 二、基本思路： 强化课堂改革，提高课堂实效；研究考纲考题，把握考试动向； 注重过程细节，培养应试技能；加强团队协作，实现合作共赢。 三、备课组课堂教学基本策略： （一）实验班教学策略 （1）持续推进课堂改革，彰显学生主体地位，引导学生自主探究，独立查找资料解决问题，小组间相互质疑，释疑，最后教师点拨，引导，拓展，提高。 （2）继续实行小组合组制，组织学生间互助合作，互相帮助，力争尖子生有突破，学科生有进步。 （3）鼓励并督促英语经常不及格的同学认真完成作业，资料等学习任务，加大检查力度，并利用早读和早自习加强单词过关和个别辅导，从点上求突破，从面上求提高。 （4）注重学习实践，加强限时训练，每周至少一小时，追求完形填空，阅读理解和书面表达的解题速度和准确率的提高。 （5）加强作业、作文的书写规范要求，培养良好的书写习惯，减少不必要的丢分。 （6）通过竞赛辅导、拓展性作业，加强英语单科尖子生的培养，力求在英语竞赛和高考中，突破英语单科高考学校记录。 （二）理科普通班，文科班教学策略 1、认真研读《英语考试大纲》和《考试说明》，掌握好基础知识和基本词汇。教师要密切注意大纲新增加的词汇的用法，还要关切历届高考中出现率较高的词汇的用法。要掌握命题的规律和特点，求同存异、融会贯通。要强化知识链，力求知识系统和完整。 2、适当降低复习难度，抓基础题。针对本校实际，教师要抓基础，抓课本，尤其要抓单词的记忆和课文的朗读，练一般题型，不做偏题、难题和怪题。 3、强化专题训练，查缺补漏。在复习中帮助学生建立错题档案，让学生注意老师在课堂上对错题的分析分析过程，详细记录，到考试前再回顾反思，比较消化。要加强题型专项训练，提高解题能力和解题速度。 4、勤督促，多检查，始终把学生抓在手里。在复习中要面向大多数学生，精讲多练，要督促学生把布置的内容做完后老师在讲，要多检查，防止个别学生偷懒，避免搞题海战，走过场。 5、重视学生的心里调试，教师要经常与学生进行感情交学习流，若发现学生因学习压力大而引起的焦虑厌学情绪，教师要及时找他们谈话，调节他们的思想情绪，使之保持平常心，以积极的学习状态去学习。 6、要做好英语“临界生”的转化工作，认真研究学生，对高考有望上线而英语单科比较薄弱的学生，要特别关注，采取有效措施，确保高考上线。教师在课堂上要多提问，课后要多指导，要注意激发和培养他们的学习兴趣，随时纠正他们的不良学习习惯，每次考试后要找个别谈话，帮助他们分析存在的问题，树立信心，争取更大进步。（三）艺术班、体育班教学策略： （1）早自习：利用早自习，督促，检查，帮助学生记单词，背课文及高考范文，抓基础知识过关的落实。 （2）课堂：高中内容逐课进行再学习，抓基础，练技能。每个单元都是从单词到对话，课文，习题，力争学生会读，会仿写，能做难度中下的阅读理解和较简单的短文改错。 （3）作业：尽可能做到当堂完成作业，同时尽可能做到面批，及时纠正错误，弥补漏洞。 （4）检测：每本书结束时都会做题，检测同学们的掌握情况，再给予补充。 （5）鼓励引导，培养学生学习兴趣；课外配合教练做学生的思想工作； （四）复读班教学策略：
