Unit5 A Let’s eat

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. I?m Yu Zhijuan, from Class 6,311. It?s my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you.

The content of my lesson is《PEP Primary English Student?s Book》Unit5 A Let?s eat. I divide it into six parts.

First, let me talk about the teaching material.

Part 1: Teaching Material:

The PEP Primary English Students’ Book is based on the things that the students know well, and uses the situations we meet everyday to bring out the new words and dialogues, which are required to be mastered according to the ‘New English Curriculum Standard’. Unit Five A Let’s Learn and Let’s T alk begins with the theme of the unit “Let’s Eat”. The Ss need to master several names of food and know how to make dialogues. It’s very practical. By the study of this unit, the Ss know how to ask foods that people like and how to make a balanced diet of food in the daily life. The sentence patterns of this lesson “ What do you like?” and “I like …” are the key and difficult points of this unit.The study of this lesson will help the Ss with daily communication.

Moreover, this lesson also helps the Ss further consolidate the knowledge of words of food and learn to say Iike something.

Therefore, According to the requirements from Bruno?s teaching aims theory on learning and the …New English Curriculum Standard?, I make this lesson?s teaching aims as below:

1. Perception objective:The Ss can hear, read, understand and use the new words and new sentences.

2. Ability objective:The Ss can use the sentence patterns of “What do you like?” “I like …?”, and further develop their language ability of English communicating;

3. Emotion objective:By completing the task,the Ss increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study;

4. key points of this lesson: First of all, to study and use the sentence patterns

“What do you like?” “I like…?”to i mprove the Ss? abilities in language study; Secondly, teach the Ss to study independently, as well as by cooperation.

5. Difficult points:The Ss can use the words and patterns to describe the food

they like in a proper scene, and make some simple dialogues of it.

Well, how to achieve the teaching objectives better, to stress the key points and break through the difficult points? The key is how to make use of the proper teaching methods, I?ll talk about my teaching methods below.

Part 2 Teaching object

Our students are in Grade Three. They are active and curious, interested in new things. After learning English for 3 years, they have some basic English background, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language.

So, I set the following Teaching Methods.

Part 3 Teaching Methods:

According to the modern perception theories, I adopt the TSA method in my teaching, namely Total Situational Action. It is a “scene —activity” teaching method .It establishes a real scene and the interaction between the teacher and the Ss .It emphasizes a dynamic information exchange between the teacher and Ss.

This activity reflects real life and learners focus on meaning, they are free to use any language they want.At the same time, make use of the modern electricity teaching equipments and all kinds of teaching means, it can mobilize the Ss? interest and creativity in learning English.

Part 4 Studying Methods:

Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. Ss understand the new knowledge in a certain degree through the mental process of seeing, hearing, saying, observing, imagining , thinking, or any others. And,It would make preparation for completing the new study task as well.

After feeling and comprehending the language points, let Ss obtain the knowledge actively by probe study and cooperative study. There by, develop the Ss? abilities of studying and working with the learning language independently.

Part 5 Teaching Process:

In order to realize the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, under the principle of “regard Ss as the corpus, the teacher inspires for predominance”, I divide the teaching process into five steps.

Step1 Warm-up.

Sing a song: Clap your hands

So as to the psychological characteristics of children,singing a song can make Ss

feel pleased and satisfied, and can arouse exciting motion. In this step , teacher and the Ss sing in unison and perform the song “Clap your hands.”Thus arouse the Ss' performance desire, participation desire,and help the Ss get ready for the new class through singing and acting.

Step2Presentation and practice.

1.Present the new lesson with CAI.

Most of the children like to watch something like cartoons, so I present the new lesson through a dialogue with cartoon conversations, and then bring out the new words and sentences.

2.Let?s practice the new sentence structures with old words.

Get them familiar with the new sentence structures.

3.Show the pictures to learn the new words:hamburgers,hot dogs,

French fries, cake, chicken,bread

Use the visual aids to give the students a strong impression, and it would help them to find the way of thinking in English.

4.Make sentences with the new words and new sentences together.

Combinations of the new words and new sentences can lead the Ss to think and talk in a new way.

By this step, it achieved the teaching aim of understanding and talking the dialogue of this lesson.

Step3 Task time.

To master the language capability needs certain amount of practice. So, I still adopt the “Task-based” teaching method, which is defined by strong practicality and exact task, so as to make break-through about the difficult points of this lesson.

For this step, I shall instruct the Ss to use the new words and sentences to complete certain tasks. Meanwhile, they may have mutual improvement in exchanging information during the communicating activities.

Most Ss can take their parts in the activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble in English study. In the group activities, they can speak a little English with ease. With no doubt, this will encourage them to speak English. In fact, and shows a kind of demand of human being.

This step also leads to the emotion objective of this lesson, and it?s to have moral education in this step.

Step4 Consolidation and extension.

Summarize the whole lesson,and arrange the homework.

In this step, I would ask the Ss to interview their classmates to make a survey by asking what food do they like to fill in the blank on page 52. So as to consolidate the mastering knowledge of this lesson.

As for the homework,I would ask the Ss to type the new words and new sentences, and then come back home to find out what do their parents like

This content is an extension of the previous lesson, to meet the needs of increasing communicating demand of some Ss.

Part 6 Talking about the blackboard writings.

I put the new sentence structure …What do you like? , I like …? with the new words on the blackboard, which means the teaching key and difficult points are shown, and the Ss would easily know what they have learned from this class. I think this would give the Ss a strong impression.

Anyway, the teaching of this lesson aims to develop not only the Ss' language technical abilities, but also the diverse intelligence by integrated teaching methods.As teachers, to make our English classrooms shine with vitality, we are laid with heavy burden, and we still have a long way to go.

Unit 5 Let’s eat 教案背景 1、面向学生:小学 2、学科:英语 3、课时:三年级上册Unit 5 Let’s eat part A Let’s learn & Let’s do第一课时 教材版本:PEP 教学课题 Unit 5 Let’s eat part A Let’s learn & Let’s do 学材分析: 本课时为小学英语PEP 教材三年级上册Unit 5 Part B中的Let's learn部分,主要围绕“food”这一话题展开,目的是让学生学习如何表达自己喜爱的食物以及为别人提供或请别人吃东西时的表达语,尤其是能在一定的情境下会用Here you are. Have some ... 和别人交流沟通。另外,Let's play部分是在实物展示和识别过程中,鼓励学生反复说出I like删掉hot dogs 改为(some juice).I like 删掉hamburgers改为(egg& eggs)原因用新PEP教材.I like some milk. I like bread.等以达到巩固本课学习内容的目的。 本节课的学习任务在全单元中所处的位置比较重要,和Let's talk部分共同构成了本单元的主体。所以,我把本节课的学习重点确定为:在多媒体课件、实物、图片的帮助下,能听懂、会说、会认读本课时有关食物的4个单词egg,bread,milk,juice,做到发音清晰、语音语调正确。 学情分析: 在本单元的学习中,我根据学生的实际情况,调整Part A Let's learn和Let's do 为第一课时,本节课初步掌握了egg,milk,juice, bread的听、说、读、写以及初步了解了复数形式eggs,不可数名词juice milk bread是本节课的学习重点,“I like some juice ...”是单词教学的拓展和延伸。 学习的主体是学生,为了切实掌握学生的情况,我采取课前调查的方式对本班学生进行了调查, [学生情况]本课的教学对象为三年级学生。他们活泼好动,注意力容易分散,爱表现自我,乐于表达。他们对直观、新颖、有趣的内容感兴趣,喜欢参与游戏、竞赛等趣味活动。 通过对调查问卷数据的分析,我发现: 学生对于西方食物非常喜爱,对于本节课操练单词的句型I like…..,已经有75%的学生掌握,而Here you are的答语,已经有80%的学生掌握。 因此,I like…和Here you are,不能成为本节课的难点,据以往教学经验和通过对学生进行了解,我将本节课的难点定为:egg,milk, bread 和juice 四个单词的发音;初步了解可数名词复数形式:eggs. 学习目标: 1、在多媒体课件、食物、图片的帮助下,能听懂、会说、会认读本课时有关食物的4个单
