（pron 代词)谁的。例：Whose shirt is that那是谁的衬衫/ Whose is this dictionary这词典是谁的
（adj.形容词）蓝色的：My shirt is blue.我的衬衫是蓝色的。（My shirt is=My shirt's）
（adv.副词）或者；也许：例：Perhaps it is Tim's.也许是蒂姆的。
（adj.形容词）白色的。例：Tim's shirt is white.蒂姆的衬衫是白色的。
（v.动词）（1）抓住。例：Catch! （2）赶上，赶到：catch the train. 赶上火车。
（3）感染；着（火）：catch (a)cold着凉；伤风/catch fire 着火

3 blouse （n.名词）女衬衫。例：Whose is that blouse那衬衫是谁的

二、课文
(既有形容词词性又有名词词性）引导的特殊疑问句，用来询问某物或某人的所有关系。
Whose +某物is that/this 那/这是谁的...... 如：Whose book is that
Whose is that /this+某物那/这个.....是谁的如：Whose is that book
回答：It is +人名's 如：It is Tim's.
或It is + 称谓/人名's 如：It is my mother's. It is Mike's

或It is +形物+某物如：It's my book. (It's = It is)
或It is + 名物如：It is mine.
2.人名's 或称谓's 表示谁的。如：Tom's 汤姆的my father's 我爸爸的
,sir 什么事，先生。yes 后有问号是“什么事”的意思，其他情况是“是的”意思。
4.名词性物主代词
我的mine 你(们)的yours 他的his 她的hers
它的its（在现代英语中很少用）我们的ours 他们的theirs
注意：形容词性物主代词是形容词词性，后面必须要接名词，而名词性物主代词是名词词性，后面不可以接名词。this your shirt (肯定句) This is my shirt.
Is this shirt yours (肯定句) This shirt is mine. 回答：Yes, it is. / No, it isn't.
’s shirt’s white. Tim 's 时Tim 的所有格形式，为避免重复，Tim's后面可以省去shirt.
Tim’s shirt. 蒂姆的衬衫。Shirt’s = shirt is.例：It's isn't my pen,it's Frank's. 这不是我的钢笔，是弗兰克的。

这是一句习惯用语，递给对方东西或对方在找某物时，你指出东西的位置时，用这句话。
