2010 4.2 (netizen) The Internet community in China grows at the fastest rate in the world. In 2010, there were a total of 0.42 billion citizens in China and the figure/number keeps increasing swiftly. The growing popularity of the Internet has produced tremendous social changes. The netizens in China tend to differ from those outside China. In the United States, netizens are more driven by practical needs, and they use the Internet as a tool to send emails, buy and sell goods, do research, plan journeys, or make payments. In China, netizens use the Internet primarily for the purpose of social interaction, thus gaining wider access to forums, blogs and chat rooms.

A growing number of young people in China are showing interest in tours. This is a trend that has emerged in recent years.
