People often greet each other with “Hello”or “Hi”. Other forms of greetings are “Good morning “Good afternoon”, or “Good evening” according to different time of a day. A library is a building for a collection (收集，收藏品) of books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers. The books are kept on the shelves in the stack (堆，干草垛) room whereas (鉴于，然而，但是，尽管) the magazines, journals, etc. in the reading room. Modern libraries also have Xerox (静电复印) rooms and audio (音频，听觉)-visual rooms. If you want to borrow books, you
can go to the loan (贷款，借出) desk, look over the correct numbers in the card catalog (目录，编目录) and ask the librarian to take them out for you. Or you're allowed to enter the stack room to find the books for yourself. There are some things about myself that I really like. First of all, I always make an effort to do my best. I never give up halfway without trying my best. For example, I have practiced the piano for more than twelve years. And now I am learning English every day.
