If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

It’s the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen, by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different, that their voices could be that difference.

It’s the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled. Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states. We are, and always will be, the United States of America.

I congratulate Gov. Palin for all that they’ve achieved. And I look forward to working with them to renew this nation’s promise in the months ahead.

说起骄傲,有的人为自己腰缠万贯而骄傲,有的人为自己的地位显赫而骄傲,有的人为自己有房子有车而骄傲,有的人甚至为自己有一身漂亮的时装而骄傲,我无意于评判这些骄傲的价值,但我为自己是军人的妻而骄傲.

我爱人远在千里之外的军营,我们结婚十二年,而我们真正相聚的时间还不到两年.我在这聚少离多的日子里,由脆弱渐渐的学会了坚强.记得我们新婚不久,爱人就匆匆的归队了,望着远去的列车,我泪流成行.漫漫的长夜写满了我的孤单和思念.几个月后,我怀孕了,强烈的妊娠反应让我几乎吐出了肝胆,喜与悲牵着我,泪与盼牵着我,牵着我迎来了女儿的呱呱坠地.于是,我一个人用柔弱的双肩扛起了家庭和事业的双重重担.

十二年来,我与苦累相伴,抛开眼泪,为自己擎起一片坚强的天空.

在学校,我是尽职尽责的教师,每一天,我都不停的在学生贫瘠的心灵中播撒知识的种子,每一天,我都在学生天真的童话中移植科学与文明的基因,每一天,我都在学生不成熟的骨骼浇铸理想和信念,每一天,我都在学生平凡的生活中融入快乐和歌声.我从教二十三年,曾先后被评为辽宁省首届小学教学新秀,铁岭市优秀教师,开原市先进教师,开原市优秀辅导员,中固中心校优秀党员,今年的三八节,我还被开原市妇联评为开原市十大杰出母亲.

在军营,我是官兵们敬重的军嫂,我去部队探亲,曾和官兵们一起策划春节联欢晚会,和官兵们一起包饺子过大年,我为战士们拍照,为他们织补残破的毛衣袖口,帮爱人所在的济空军区撰写八一晚会串台词.

在家中,我是贤妻良母,为久别重逢的丈夫烹一杯香茶,忘掉旅途中的风尘和劳顿,炒几碟色香味俱全的小菜,享受一家人团聚的温馨.然而,这样的日子对我们来说实在太短太短,就像我们生命里盛开的昙花,就像夜空中飞逝的流星,只美丽了瞬间就让我们开始了漫长的期待.

女儿在这期待的月缺月圆里渐渐的长大.我在女儿幼小的心灵里种植爱心果,所以她用自己的压岁钱给远在四川的奶奶买生日礼物,所以她用压岁钱给灾区的孩子献爱心.我在女儿童年的生活中种植自由花,只要她完成了作业,她可以开心的玩她的布娃娃,可以自由自在的上片刻的网玩游戏,女儿读小学五年级了,她是学校少先队的大队长,

是班级的文艺骨干,她写的作文曾先后刊登在<红蜻蜓>杂志和<铁岭晚报>上,她曾连续两年被评为开原市三好学生.

在社会,我是坚强的女人,工作之余,我在网络里写博客,同时把我写的博文发邮件投出去,去年,铁岭晚报刊登了我四十多篇文章.

然而,又有谁知道这坚强的背后有多少泪水呢!女儿小时候,经常躺在我冰凉的办公桌上挂吊瓶,一挂就是几个小时,那透明的液体一滴一滴的输进女儿的血管,却着实的疼在我的心上.

每当夜幕降临,女儿常常趴在窗台上望着外面的夜空,因为爸爸说,想爸爸就看天上的月亮.今年的春天,女儿在课堂上突然哭了,老师问她为什么,她说今天是她十周岁的生日,可爸爸一个生日都没陪他过过……是啊,女儿的父爱也许是一种缺憾,而当兵的爸爸身在军营,情系万家啊!

这些年的不容易,我怎能告诉你,有过多少叹息也有多少挺立,长夜的那串泪滴我怎能留给你,有过多少憔悴也有多少美丽.作为军人家属,虽然我们缺少了天伦之乐,但我们荣耀,我们骄傲,我们光荣,我们自豪.

很荣幸今生能成为军人的妻,我会用我的自信自立自强自尊来爱我的祖国,来爱我的军队,来爱我的学校,来爱我的家庭.

最后,我把自己最喜欢的那首歌<妻子>唱给大家听吧!“真正的军人你扑向了风雨，我是你家中最平安的消息，世上有那样多的人赞美着你，我骄傲，我是军人是妻”，我骄傲，我是军人的妻！谢谢大家

（亲爱的）朋友们，今天我们在这里歌颂老师。我们歌颂老师是“辛勤的园丁，爱心的大使”，歌颂老师是“人类灵魂的工程师”，歌颂老师是“太阳底下最光辉的事业”。我们为什么歌颂呢？因为伟大所以才歌颂。为什么伟大呢？我想一种职业和一些人之所以能称得上伟大，无外乎他们对人类具有特殊的贡献，无外乎他们付出了无私的爱。

那么，老师的贡献在哪里呢？老师做了什么样的称得上伟大的贡献呢？我们说，老师最伟大的贡献在于它传承了人类的文明。大家都知道人类个体的生命是有限的，人类生命得以延续那是因为自然赋予了我们繁衍的能力。而和延续生命同样重要的是文明的传承。那么，像中华上下五千年这样灿烂的人类文明得以延续和继承靠的是什么呢？靠的是教育，靠的是老师！大家不要以为文明只要通过文字，通过笔和纸记录下来了就能延续了，不是的！大家不相信可以看看已成为人类文明历史的三大文明古国，古埃及、古印度和古巴比伦，他们留下的有的是文字、有的是图书，你去埃及金字塔看看，到处是古埃及的象形文字，但是为什么现在的考古学家和历史学家会看着墙壁上布满的文字发呆呢？为什么这三大文明古国都没有能够把自己的文明完整地延续下来呢？朋友们，道理很简单！因为没有懂得的人去教那几个所谓的考古学家，因为这三个国家由于各种原因教育出了点问题。那么，为什么另一大文明古国中国却能不间断的延续自己的文明呢？亲爱的朋友们，道理同样很简单！因为中国的教育制度那可是全

世界出了名的：古有八股文，今有3＋1，虽然过分了点，但是我们看到了这样的一个事实，文明确实是要靠教育和老师来延续的。或者更准确的说，文明靠的是这个社会中从事教育事业的教师群体来传延的。大家说，老师承担了人类文明的传延，老师伟大不伟大？当然伟大！古人云(说)，文以载道，师以传道，说的就是这个道理。

由文明的传承我们看到了老师的伟大，我们说这是老师这一神圣职责本身所决定的，这是历史赋予老师的使命，是外在的。但，我一直认为真正的老师，他们所具有的无私的爱心，他们一辈子“爱”的付出更是对老师这一传承人类文明之伟大事业的升华！亲爱的朋友们，这绝对不是什么空谈，那么，来听听这些感人的事迹吧。

2004年9月，新华网报道了优秀女教师马宪华的感人事迹。从1996年到2004年，这位女教师一个人教八门课程，一个人带六个年龄段，一个人包揽了整个学校的孩子。学校在大山深处，她无论寒暑，每天要绕过四座山，趟过五条河，走过33里路。她说：“我可以无愧地告诉大家，我没有耽误过孩子们一节课。”这样一位只关心特困山区孩子的将来，而不追求自身发展、不追求物质利益、甚至连一节课都不愿拉下的老师，不伟大吗？！

那么再来看看今年3月份刚刚发生的一个例子，江苏省金坛市城南小学52岁的殷雪梅老师在护送学生过马路时，肇事卡车飞驰而来，殷雪梅老师张开双臂，奋力将走在马路中央的6名学生推到一旁。学生们安然无恙，但是，她自己却因为用了整一个的身体去抵挡卡车的强烈撞击而被抛出25米远，永远地离开了她的学生们。送行那天，

孩子们都哭成了泪人儿，孩子们都说她比妈妈还要亲。这样一位用了自己的生命去保护学生的老师，不伟大吗？！我们要歌颂的不就是这样的老师吗？！

亲爱的朋友们，这样的例子还有很多很多，还有更多的是像在座的这些在自己岗位上默默地无私地奉献着自己的爱心、充当着无名英雄的老师们。著名教育家亚米契斯在《爱的教育》一书中对“师爱”是这样描述的：“教育之没有情感，没有爱，就如同池塘没有水一样。没有水，就不称其为池塘，没有爱就没有教育。”那么我说，没有爱就没有文明的延续。我一直认为人类各式各样的职业中，教师这一职业是最能体现人生价值和最能发挥人类仁爱本性的职业。为什么呢？因为，老师所面对的是人类最圣洁最纯真的那些心灵；因为，老师所维护的是世界上最纯洁最纯洁的那一片净土；因为老师们都知道，孩子就是文明的未来，孩子就是人类的未来！他们用最伟大的爱将这一神圣的职业演绎到最高，也将人类的文明代代相传！！

Thank you so much. Tonight, more than 200 years after a former colony won the right to determine its own destiny, the task of perfecting our union moves forward. It moves forward because of you. It moves forward because you reaffirmed the spirit that has triumphed over war and depression, the spirit that has lifted this country from the depths of despair to the great heights of hope, the belief that while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams, we are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one people. Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America the best is yet to come. I want to thank every American who participated in this election, whether you voted for the very first time or waited in line for a very long time. By the way, we have to fix that. Whether you pounded the pavement or picked up the phone, whether you held an Obama sign or a Romney sign, you made your voice heard and you made a difference. I just spoke with Gov. Romney and I congratulated him and Paul Ryan on a hard-fought campaig n. We may have battled fiercely, but it’s only because we love this country deeply and we care so strongly about its future. From George to Lenore to their son Mitt, the Romney family has chosen to give back to America through public service and that is the legacy that we honor and applaud tonight. In the weeks ahead, I also look forward to sitting down with Gov. Romney to talk about where we can work together to move this country forward. I want to thank my friend and partner of the last four years, Americ a’s happy warrior, the best vice president anybody could ever hope for, Joe Biden. And I wouldn’t be the man I am today without the woman who agreed to marry me 20 years ago. Let me say this publicly: Michelle, I have never loved you more. I have never bee n prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you, too, as our nation’s first lady.
