Victor:Good morning, Sean

Sean:Good morning, Victor.

Victor: Let’s ta lk something about fashion today. What do you think of it?

Sean:To myself, I love the fashion.

Victor: Why?

Sean:You know, our society is open and free,fashion plays an important role in helping us express our freedom and personality.

Victor: For example?

Sean: Everyone can and should has the right to show his new and up-to-date ideas, to show his desire to break with the tradition and to show his different style or taste.

Victor:Year. Anything else?

Sean: And another reason is that following the fashion trends can show one’s wealth and status. Without following it, one might be looked down upon by some people and therefore lose some opportunities. That’s all. What about you?

Victor: In my opinion, fashion is a complete waste of time, money and

resources.

Sean: I disagree entirely. The world would be a very boring place without change.

Victor: Fashion doesn't only involve change. It's a very dishonest form of marketingbased on artificial images which never translate into reality.But I want to say, not all people have enough money to afford the cost on following fashions, especially the young people. For example, many clothes are not practical and useful but expensive.

Sean: Indeed.

Victor: So it’s wise for them to spend time and money on study and work.

Sean: Year, then?

Victor: Secondly, such fashion will not show one’s real personality. On the contrary, it will have one’s identity lost. And for many things, it’s up-to-date today, it will be out of fashion tomorrow.And many girls drive mad, and some even don’t go to school but rush to purchase fashionable dress, clothes,bag and others. Something is random and ridiculous. Sean: So，do you think what is fashion,and what we should be wearing? Victor: I think classic is fashion, and the best style is simple and decent.Do you believe in the saying” Clothes make the man”?

Sean: Yes, I do. Clothes can create an image for the person who wears them. They send a message about a person’s taste, values, personality and status.

Victor: But I don’t think so. The function of clothes is to cover the human body and keep the body warm.
