浅谈如何提高中学生英语学习兴趣
摘要：兴趣和爱好是学习的最好的老师，我们当今的英语教学要更加关注学生的学习兴趣，充分发挥学生学习的主动性，把英语课堂变得丰富生动。
关键词：提高英语学习兴趣
随着社会的发展和素质教育的深入，今天的英语教学已经不再像往日一样，只是为了应付一张试卷的"哑巴英语"。我校学生普遍来自郊区，英语基础较差。他们对英语的学习就是在机械背单词，背句子，枯燥乏味的做题，毫无兴趣而言。
苏霍姆林斯基说:“如果教师不想方设法使学生产生情绪高昂和智力振奋的内心状态,就急于传授知识,那么这种知识只能使人产生冷漠的态度,而不动情感的脑力劳动就会带来疲倦。没有欢欣鼓舞的心,学习就成为学生沉重的负担”。因此，在课堂教学中，如何激发学生的兴趣；培养学生的思维能力；使其能轻松愉快的学习英语，就成为摆在我们面前的一大课题。
首先，我们教师要与学生建立融洽的关系。
尊重每一位学生，关爱每一位学生，主动与学生交朋友，按照学生心理、生理发展的特点，进行教学。教师也只有俯下身去，真心关爱每一位学生，才能营造好的课堂教学氛围．才能赢得学生的尊重和信任，才能获得学生的理解与支持。也才能激发学生对于学习的追求与探索，从而获得最大限度的教学效果。在课堂教学中，我认为教师要把
情感教育融入其中。如果教师的课堂语言没有亲切感，缺乏感情，那么学生的接受效果就会降低。因为学生的个体差异，需要教师努力找出一种适合学生身心发展的主体方法，让学生在融洽的、有利于交往的情境中学习。
在我校，我通过课余时间对学生的耐心交流与沟通了解到，学生的厌学情绪主要出自卑。学生若在初中三年时间没有打下坚实的基础，随着学习的深入，知识面的拓展，单词量的增多，更感到力不从心，不少学生就此放弃英语学习。作为一所普通高中的英语教师，深感我的教学目的绝不只是学生在教师的引导下，获取课文所传达的信息，也不仅仅是让学生掌握课文所包含的词语、词法、句型和语法等语言知识。著名教育学家乌申斯基说：“没有任何兴趣，而被迫进行的学习，会扼杀学生掌握知识的意愿。”帮助学生端正学习态度，提高学习自信心就成为提高学习兴趣和耐力的根本。
因此，教师要帮助学生寻找适合自己的学习方法，更要有意识地找出他们的积极因素。当他们取得成绩时，老师要在全班面前表扬鼓励他们，这样会使他们在心理上产生一种快慰和成就感，使得他们信心倍增。当他们出现错误时，教师要体谅学生，态度和蔼、委婉地指出错误，并多肯定他们取得的成绩和进步，以减轻学生的心理负担。老师积极、恰当地引导能在不知不觉中使学生受到感染，自尊心、自信心倍增，学生感受到来自教师的坚定信心和鼓舞激励，由此发挥学习潜力。专家指出，选择有意义的、积极的、正面的语言，能激励人健康、进步、向上、成功、成才。常对学生讲“trust yourself ”、
“try you best”、“never give up”、“keep up your courage ”、“you are the best one”等等激励话语，并鼓励学生大胆地表现自己。他们在课堂上偶尔机灵正确的回答，给予赞赏的“wonderful”；作业批改把冰冷的分数改为“good”，“excellent”甚至“perfect”，这样我们的学生会由学习进步而产生愉悦和成就感。实践证明，不少原本只会嘟哝着：“老师，英语我们真的什么都不会，也不想学”的学生，建立了学习自信心后，对英语学习产生了兴趣，由被动的接受改为主动学习了。
第二，要把课堂教学丰富生动起来。
我们的英语课堂应该是生动活泼的，我们要通过各种合适的方式来丰富我们的课堂，把枯燥的语言知识传输教学创新为生动有趣的语言欣赏与交流。我在教学中会采用以下的方法帮助学生学习英语。
1、我们很多课文是讲人物的，其实单纯的就课文学习学生是很不感兴趣的，我们可以通过课文里有意思的事或和文章中人物有关系的有意思的事情来导入课文。如在讲必修四“Women of Achievement”这一单元的阅读课，讲了Jane Goodall保护黑猩猩的伟大事迹，其实学生对于黑猩猩并不是很不了解，他们只认为就是一群比较野蛮的动物，然而我在备课时看了简．古德尔研究黑猩猩的视频，了解了原来猩猩也是很可爱的。而后，我把视频剪辑让同学们观看，让他们通过视频了解Jane Goodall和黑猩猩的生活，他们非常感兴趣。这是一个英文的视频，同时锻炼了他们的听力。这样使得学生很快投入到课文内容中去了。
2、学习语言，就要了解这个国家的文化。我们课文中也有涉及风俗人情的。比如必修三“Festivals Around the World”，我们可以通过课文引申出更多重要和有趣的西方的节日与文化，让大家了解学习。
3、我们的课堂要和先进的教学手段相结合-----多媒体教学法。英语多媒体教学法的过程是以视听方式进行的。根据心理学实验，人们获得外界事物的信息约80%---90%是通过眼睛输入，看过的东西比听过的东西更让人信服，且记得牢靠，如果既有视觉输入，又有听觉输入，则接受效果会更好。多媒体计算机提供的情境比课本更生动更真实，能更容易引起学生的兴趣，因此有助于培养学生观察、判断、推理事物的能力，也更容易激发与培养学生的想象力；而利用多媒体软件的友好交互界面和多媒体的超文本结构，教师可以针对学生的实际情况，按照由表及里、由浅入深、由个别到一般、由具体到抽象的认识规律，启发学生的各种创造性思维能力。运用电脑动画将单词的含义与单词的空间结构表象结合起来，既能增加单词学习效果，又能培养学生的空间思维能力。
4、我认为在英语教学中，用英语组织课堂教学是很重要的。最初学生反映有好些听不懂，要求全讲中文，但听老师解释英语语境可以烘托课堂气氛让学生感知英语，把学生放在一个英语环境里，用英语的语音语调还可激发学生学习英语的兴趣，设法创设英语情景和气氛，这样，学生就能自然而然地产生用英语表达思维感情的需要，增强学生的求知欲，并在无意中强化学生的听说能力集中学生学习注意
力，兴趣也由然而生。此后进行情景对话和故事演绎。笔者曾将一个
班分成四组，分别以：1.There was an old woman ……2.There was
a deep forest ……3.There was a big castle……4.There was a large desert……为开头让同学们一人一句，一人接一人地演绎
故事的发展，每位同学都兴奋地期待着自己发言的那一刻，全神贯注，
大胆发言，踊跃讨论，课堂反映非常热烈。
第三，业余生活中的英语学习很重要。
1﹑学习英文歌曲，可以极大地提高学生的学习兴趣，为学生的
英语学习创设和谐愉快的环境，同时又可以培养学生高尚的情操和审
美意识。
比如课余时，教授学生学唱Country music,使学生充分享受
优美乡村音乐的同时，培养学生热爱生活、热爱大自然的优秀品质，
对培养文化修养、健康的心理素质、高尚的审美意识都具有极其深远
的影响。曾有个学生，以前从来不记单词，但为了方便从网上听英文
歌曲，也开始背诵单词了。
2﹑关注并收集英语广告。
现代化的日常生活中涌现了大量制作精美携带英文单词的外商
广告，而且这些很多都是受学生喜爱的时尚商品。让学生课后收集印
象最深的英语广告，并将其制成英语卡片，或剪贴装订成图文相映的
英语画册。在此基础之上，指导学生自己选择物品对其进行文字和图
像广告设计。这样的活动，同样能使学生在浓烈的兴趣中进行英语学习。
总之，在新课程标准下的英语教学中，教师应当多关注学生的学习兴趣，爱因斯坦说过：“兴趣和爱好是最好的老师”。我们要把枯燥乏味的语言课变成学生英语实践活动的舞台，增加课堂的生动性趣味性，让学生真正爱上学英语，并能灵活的运用它，而不只是为了考试而学习。

浅谈对中学生英语学习兴趣的培养 古代教育家孔子曾说过：“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者。”因此，在英语教学过程中，要让学生轻松、愉悦、主动、有效地学习，关键就是培养起学生的学习兴趣。那么，如何培养学生对英语的学习兴趣呢？下面，谈一谈笔者在教学实践中的几点体会： 首先，对学生要加强情感教育，诱导兴趣。英语教学不仅是一个认识过程，而且也是一种情感活动过程。学生的学习情感调控得好，就可以变被动学习为主动学习。要让学生在获得知识、解决问题的过程中亲身感受英语知识的广泛应用，以此激发学生的求知欲，让其产生肯定的学习情感，使他们认识到如果想拥有一个美好的未来，且能更好地胜任以后的工作，必须学习英语，并且一定要学好英语。教师要注重对学生的感情投入。通过日常教学中许多细微之处对学生科学引导、热情帮助，使学生切实感受到老师的爱心和对自己的关怀，时时刻刻感觉老师在关注自己，使之“亲其师，信其道”，这样，师生之间就会产生情感共鸣，学生对英语课就会产生强烈的兴趣，由厌学转化为好学、爱学、乐学。 其次，利用多媒体，激发兴趣。学习语言最怕缺乏语言环境，课上没有英语气氛，会使具有好动、情感易变特性的学生感到枯燥乏味。运用多媒体，精心设计好每一堂课，把抽象的语言、单调的词汇、语段具体化、生动化、形象化，就会深刻地吸引学生的注意力，激发起学习情趣，迅速培养其学习兴趣，提高学英语的能力。这样，就会把抽象的东西具体化、形象化，即可满足学生的好奇心、求知欲，也能全面调动学生看、听、说、想等多方面的积极性。 再次，创设表现空间，拓展兴趣。在日常的教学中，老师要尽可能多地给学生提供和创造表现自己的机会，。 总之，英语本来就是一门有趣的学科。如果我们能注意挖掘潜藏在英语中的宝藏，注意培养学生学习兴趣，自始至终都能生动地、饶有兴趣地让学生去学，一定会取得良好的教学成果。
