Today I want to share the book I was reading these days with is called pride and prejudice written by an English writer Jane Austen and came out in showed the society landed gentry of early 19th century England by telling the love story between Elizabeth and is the second of five daughters of ,who is a country gentleman living in a town near rich bachelor called became the new neighbor of the Bennets and fell in love with the eldest daughter Jane at the first eye,which made very happy because she wants her daughters married rich with his friend Darcy comes to a party where Darcy and Elizabeth is a wealthy Duke so he is always said Elizabeth’s appearance is just in the range he could thinks him as an rude man thus ignoring soon after ,Darcy found Elizabeth is an innocent and lovely girl and he changed his idea of her little by little,especially after Elizabeth agreeing to dance with Darcy thinks Elizabeth is a good girl but he cannot the rudeness of her worried that Jane is not attracted by Bingley but his property so he persuades Bingley to stay away from Jane.
There is a person called Wickham praised by many people getting on well with tells Elizabeth that he was the housekeeper of the Darcy’s familly and he could have inherited a part of estate of Darcy’s father but Darcy stole it .Elizabeth disgusts Darcy more and refused to marry writes a letter to Elizabeth to explain some facts that he persuaded Bingley to leave Jane because he is not satisfied with Mrs. Bennet and Elizabeth younger sisters’ impolite told a lie to her,and the fact is Wickham wasted his part of estate reading this letter,Elizabeth regrets to blame Darcy wrongly.
The next summer,Elizabeth hears her youngest sister ran away with indebted Wickham and comes across her surprised,Darcy has paid the debt for her sister and ’s more ,she finds that Darcy is no more an arrogant man but a begin to fall in love with each other while Jane and Bingley renew their proposes to Elizabeth again and she agrees.
This story reflects the author's view of marriage: it is wrong to marry for wealth, money, and status, and it is foolish to get married without considering the above factors. Therefore, she opposed marriage for money, is opposed to the marriage as a trifling matter. She stressed the importance of the ideal marriage, and the feelings of both men and women as the cornerstone of the ideal 's different attitude to Darcy's two marriage proposals actually reflects the pursuit of women's independence and equality of personality.
Pride and Prejudice is perhaps one of the greatest love stories in the world, it tells that women have the right to live better, but not to think that women should be taken for granted.
My favorite part in this novel is spoken by Darcy to Elizabeth that”you are too generous to trifle with me.”I think this shows the trust and respect between the couple.

To date, the book has sold some 20 million copies worldwide Plot summary The narrative opens with Mr Bingley, a wealthy, charming and social young bachelor, moving into Netherfield Park in the neighbourhood of the Bennet family. Mr Bingley is soon well received, while his friend Mr Darcy makes a less favorable first impression by appearing proud and condescending at a ball that they attend (this is partly explained in that he detests dancing and is not much for light conversation). Mr Bingley singles out Elizabeth's elder sister, Jane, for particular attention, and it soon becomes apparent that they have formed an attachment to each other. By contrast, Darcy slights Elizabeth, who overhears and jokes about it despite feeling a budding resentment. On paying a visit to Mr Bingley's sister, Jane is caught in a heavy downpour, catches cold, and is forced to stay at Netherfield for several days. Elizabeth arrives to nurse her sister and is thrown into frequent company with Mr Darcy, who begins to perceive his attachment to her, but is too proud to proceed on this feeling. Mr Collins, a clergyman, pays a visit to the Bennets. Mr Bennet and Elizabeth are much amused by his obsequious veneration of his employer, the noble Lady Catherine de Bourgh, as well as by his self-important and pedantic nature. It soon becomes apparent that Mr Collins has come to Longbourn to choose a wife from among the Bennet sisters (his cousins) and Elizabeth has been singled out. At the same time, Elizabeth forms an acquaintance with Mr Wickham, a militia officer who claims to have been very seriously mistreated by Mr Darcy, despite having been a ward of Mr Darcy's father. This tale, and Elizabeth's attraction to Mr Wickham, adds fuel to her dislike of Mr Darcy. After Mr. Bennet pays a social visit to Mr. Bingley, the Bennets attend a ball at which Mr. Bingley is present. He is taken with Jane and spends much of the evening dancing with her. His close friend, Mr. Darcy, is less pleased with the evening and haughtily refuses to dance with Elizabeth, which makes everyone view him as arrogant and obnoxious. At social functions over subsequent weeks, however, Mr. Darcy finds himself increasingly attracted to Elizabeth’s charm and intelligence. Jane’s friendship with Mr. Bingley also continues to burgeon, and Jane pays a visit to the Bingley mansion. On her journey to the house she is caught in a downpour and catches ill, forcing her to stay at Netherfield for several days. A further shock arrives with the news that Mr. Collins has become engaged to Charlotte Lucas, Elizabeth’s best friend and the poor daughter of a local knight. Charlotte explains to Elizabeth that she is getting older and needs the match for financial reasons. Charlotte and Mr. Collins get married and Elizabeth promises to visit them at their new home. As winter progresses, Jane visits the city to see friends (hoping also that she might see Mr. Bingley). However, Miss Bingley visits her and behaves rudely, while Mr. Bingley fails to visit her at all. The marriage prospects for the Bennet girls appear bleak.
