一新课导入

(1)教师准备一些短语和句子Adam’s Apple(喉结),fair play(费厄泼赖),约翰牛(John Bull)让学生进行英汉互译,从简单的翻译中让学生对英国文化有进一步的认识—

—英国文化具有浓厚的宗教色彩,充满着自由和自律的文化精神;同时,它也透射

出“费厄泼赖”的光芒。

(2)教师用图片展示英国有名的景点,在介绍景点中让学生设想下自己英国之旅,从而引出本课的口语环节introduction。

Text Messages (also called SMS, shorten for Short Message Service) through cell phones became very popular in the late 1990s.It is becoming a preferred and cost-effective way of communicating with others.

Part 2 Grammar (verb)

a)动词(verb): 它表示行为或者作为行为过程看待的状态。

b) 动词分类:

1)动词按其词汇意义、形态和语法功能进行分类,可分成

实义动词(Notional Verb):具有独立的意义,可独立作谓语或者带上宾语、状语结构成为谓语。表示行为的动词多属于这一类。

系动词(Link Verb):连系动词不能独立作谓语,而需要和表语(名词、形容词)连用构成谓语。表示状态的动词多属于这一类。

助动词(Auxiliary Verb):没有独立的词汇意义,其作用是帮助另一个动词(非限定动词)来构成谓语动词整体,并表现出时态、语态、疑问、否定等。

情态动词(Modal Verb):语气动词是表示说话人的态度,其作用也是帮助另一个动词(非限定动词)来构成动词整体。

2)从能否直接带宾语角度来看,实义动词可分为两类;

及物动词(transitive verbs)& 不及物动词(in transitive verbs)

及物动词(transitive verbs)及物动词之后必须带宾语,有些及物动词可带双宾语,即直接

宾语和间接宾语。

不及物动词(in transitive verbs)不及物动词之后不需带宾语。

3)五种形态

原形(Original Form)、第三人称单数形式(Singular Form in Third Personal)、过去式(Past Form)、过去分词(Past Participle)、现在分词(Present Participle)。

4)Exercises

a)We are having a meeting.我们正在开会。(having是实义动词。)

b)He has gone to New York.他已去纽约。(has是助动词。)

c)She can dance and sing.她能唱歌又能跳舞。(sing在此用作不及物动词。)

She can sing many English songs.她能唱好多首英文歌曲。(sing用作及物动词。)

d)H e is a teacher.他是一名教师。(is与补足语一起说明主语的身份。)
