Unit 4 Is there a post office near here.

第一课时 Section A(1a-1c)

学习目标

1、重点单词:post, office, police, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, near.

2、重点短语:post office, police station, pay phone.

3、重点句型:—Is there a hospital near here?

There be句型基本认识。

1. 定义:there be 句型表示某处存在某物或某人。

2. 结构:A)There is + 单数可数名词/ 不可数名词+地点状语。

如:1) .There is an apple on the bed. 有一个苹果在床上。

2). There is some salad in the dish 在盘子里有一些沙拉。

B)There are +复数名词+地点状语

如:There are many books in my school bag 在我的书包里有很多书。

▲注意事项:谓语动词be要与主语(某人或某物)的数保持一致。当主语是两个或两个以上的名词时,谓语动词要跟它最近的那个名词一致(就近原则)。

如:There is a bed and two chairs in Betty's room.

There are two chairs and a bed in Betty's room

3. 变成否定句

There be句型的否定式的构成,在be动词后加上not即可。

如:There are some pictures on the wall. →There aren't any pictures on the wall.

4. 变成一般疑问句

There be句型的一般疑问句变化是把be动词调整到句首,再在句尾加上问号即可。

当肯定句中有some时,要将其改为any(否定变化也一样)

如:There is some water on Mars. → Is there any water on Mars?

5.There be 句型与have (has)的区别

There be 表示“存在”关系的“有”。而have表示“所有”关系的“有”

如:1)There is a boat on the river 河里有一艘小船。“表示在河里存在一艘小船”

2)I have a book 我有一本书。“表示这本书归我所有”

(一)方位介词的用法:

*across from …在……对面如:There is a bank across from the library.

*next to 在…..旁边,靠近…如:The pay phone is next to the library.

*between…and…在…和…之间(两者之间)如:She is sitting between Lily and Lucy *in front of 在……前面(范围之外)如:The hotel is in front of the bank

*in the front of 在…..前面(范围之内)如:There is a blackboard in front of the classroom

*behind 在…...后面The hotel is behind the park.

*near 在....附近 The bank is near the post office

*on 在....上面 There is a boat on the river.

*in 在....里面 There is a tree in the picture.

学习目标

1、重点单词及短语:along, turn, right, crossing ,neighborhood ,turn right/left, at the first crossing,go along, on left/right

2. on the right/left 在右边/左边(注:必须用介词“on”)

3. spend vt. 花费;消耗;花(时间);度过

spend的主语必须是人,常用于以下结构:

(1) spend time /money on sth. 在……上花费时间(金钱)。

例:I spend two hours on this maths problem. 这道数学题花了我两个小时。

She spends 10 dollars on the skirt. 她花费了10美元买了这件裙子。

(2) spend time /money (in) doing sth. 花费时间(金钱)做某事。(注:in可以省略)

例:They spent two years (in) learning English 他们花了两年时间学英语。

4. watch sb. doing sth.注视正在某人做某事(强调看见动作正在发生)

Watch sb do sth 观看某人做过某事(强调看见动作发生的全过程)如: Now the students are watching the musician playing the piano。
