In 1883, an engineer named John Roebling thought of an idea to build a great bridge connecting New York with the Long Island. However, bridge building experts throughout the world thought that this was an impossible thing.

Roebling thought about the bridge all the time and he knew in his heart that it could be done. Finally he managed to make his son Washington, a promising engineer believe that the bridge could be built.
